ADMISSION SCHEDULEUndergraduate Programmes (B.E., B.S., B. Arch)

Batch 2014-15Candidates whose names appear in the Provisional Merit List, are advised in their own

interest to read the following very carefully and note down the schedule for their personalappearances for Submission of documents, Medical Fitness Test and for the Interview &Admission.

Data Record of applications will be displayed on the University Website(http://www.neduet.edu.pk) on 31st October, 2014. Any applicant having his/her record neededcorrection may contact Admission Office on or before 07thNovember, 2014.

The First Provisional Merit list for each category under Regular and Self Finance schemeswill be notified by the University on 10th November, 2014. The list will be displayed on theUniversity Notice Boards at the gate of the main campus and will also be made available on theUniversity Website.

Each Candidate, according to the order of merit in the call list, should personally reportfor Submission of ORIGINAL documents and Medical Fitness Test at Admission Officeon the date and time specified for reporting, according to the schedule.

For Submission of documents each candidate must bring the following documents inoriginal for scrutiny (Also all previous original mark sheets, including failed and improved marksheets) and submit as mentioned against each of them, to the admission office.

(Medical Fitness Test) After Submission of documents candidate shall have to: Deposit Rs.1100/- (Rupees One Thousand and Hundred only) with the NBP, NED

University Branch, and Produce Bank deposit slip to the Principal Medical Officer(PMO)Medical Department of the University along with Chest PA view X-Ray, twopassport size photographs and attested photocopy of Matriculation Certificate. Incase of foreign examination candidates proof of date of birth should be produced.

Candidates would then be required to appear before the Interview Committee on specific date andtime, as annexed, to choose the discipline from the available seats in their respective category. Theselection of discipline / programme is based on a computerized interactive process. The choice ofavailable seats would decrease as one goes down in the order of merit and each candidate willhave to make on-the-spot choice from the seats available. If the candidate is unable to attend the interview in case of exceptionalcircumstances he / she may authorize any person, preferably a parent, to come on theinterview day and take decision on behalf of candidate. The person so authorized shall haveto complete all formalities required by the University regarding admission process.Candidates who expect to face exceptional circumstances should contact the ChairmanAdmission Committee after the Medical Test.

The name of candidates who do not appear for medical, do not submit the originaldocuments and / or fail to appear for interview / Admission on the specified schedule dates foreach category, shall be deleted from the schedule List.

If a Candidate reports for admission after his/her scheduled date/time, Universityauthority may consider him /her for admission on merit against available seats underrespective category.

Admission Fee which is to be paid at the time of admission is as under:i. Rs. 30,800/- for all engineering disciplines and BS (CS&IT).ii. Rs. 32,300/- for B.Arch.iii. Rs. 46,820/- for all BS programmes except BS (Industrial Chemistry).iv. Rs. 47,820/- for BS (Industrial Chemistry).

Related to admission (e.g. Prospectus, Merit List, and Admission Schedule etc.) shall bequoted in case of any objections / claims. No telephonic or personal statements shall be consideredrelevant in case any of such claims.
