Interdisciplinary Masters Program in Computational Engineering (With a TeachingAssistance of Rs. 10,000/- per month). Notification No. 1 dated 10 - 04 2014.

Applications are invited for admission into the Two Year Interdisciplinary MastersProgram in Engineering leading to the award of M.Tech in Computational Engineering fromcandidates who are interested to seek a RESEARCH CAREER and graduated in Engineeringwith any one of the following core branches Chemical/Civil/Computer Science/ Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical/ Metallurgy-Materials Engineering. This program intends to givepost graduate training in computational aspects of their domain areas of engineering andcomputer science. The course shall run at the three campuses of RGUKT at Basar, Nuzvidand RK Valley (Idupulapaya) after an initial training. The initial training for SIX WEEKS on

Int roductory course in Computing shall be offered at its campuses at Basar/Nuzvid/RKValley by charging Rs. 11,000/- (Non-refundable) towards, board and accommodation tothe candidates selection through interview.

Qualification and Eligibility criteria: Valid and qualified GATE (2013 or 2014)a. Eligibility

Qualified in GATE 2013 or 2014 B.Tech/B.E with a core branch such as (Civil/Computer Science/

Chemical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Metallurgical-Materials)b. Qualification

60% or above marks in B.Tech/B.E, Intermediate and SSC SC/ST candidates: 55% or above marks in B.Tech/B.E, Intermediate and SSC Passing of the six week Introductory course in Computing with A grade of

80% marks (Mandatory) conducted by RGUKT at its campusesBasar/Nuzvid/RK Valley.

c. For admission into introductory course in Computing, selections will be based on aninterview to GATE qualified and short listed candidates.

d. Students graduating B.Tech/B.E by May 31st of 2014 and GATE 2014 are alsoeligible to apply

e. Candidates should have completed 20 years of age as on 31 st December 2014.Teaching Assistance: All candidates who are admitted to this program will get a TeachingAssistance of Rs. 10,000/- per month which roughly covers the tuition fee, room, board,laptops cost and incidental charges. Students are also encouraged to apply and avail AICTEfellowship instead.How to Apply: The mode of application is online. The candidate has to pay an applicationfee of Rs.200/-(For SC/ST candidates : Rs.150/-) (Non-refundable) in any nationalizedbank and get a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, RGUKT, payable at Hyderabad.The serial number of the D.D shall be used in filling the online application form April 11,2014 onwards, by logging in to the RGUKT site through www.rgukt.in orpgprogram2k14.rgukt.in:8080 and the filled-in application should be submitted on-line.Submission of on-line application closes on May 10, 2014.

The printout of the on-line application along with the original DD and copies of certificatesincluding GATE score card (Mandatory) shall be sent to the Registrar, RGUKT, to theaddress given above with an inscription as Application form for M.Tech- 2014 on thetop left side of the mailing cover. The hard copy of application without original DD andcopies of relevant certificates including GATE score card (Mandatory) shall not beconsidered for admission. The last date for receiving of print-out of on-line applications byRGUKT is May 19, 2014. RGUKT is not responsible for delayed deliveries by postal/courier
