• Each course runs for four weeks • Exams take place on the last Friday of

Solving Tasks in 7 Steps 1.  Reading the task and clarifying the concepts 2.  Defining the problem 3.  Analyzing the problem: brainstorming to collect

prior knowledge and best guesses 4.  Analyzing the problem: structuring your knowledge 5.  Formulating learning goals 6.  Self-study: identifying sources, studying, preparing

report for post-discussion 7.  Reporting back to the group

Choosing Your Specialization

15 November • Minimum/maximum per specialization


Master Thesis

•  Information meeting in November! •  Outline of thesis process:

– Before December: Think about topics – December–January: Develop a proposal – End of January: Present final proposal – February: Find a supervisor –  January–July: Continuous progress, feedback –  July: Thesis defense


Graduation

•  Requirement: 60 ECTS •  To graduate on time (August 31, 2011), you

need to: -  Hand in the thesis at the latest 15 working days

before August 31 -  Hand in the graduation request by August 15

•  Otherwise you need to register for another year, pay partial tuition
