    I attended workshops on using advanced Excel functions in order to track salesfigures against target.

    I organised weekly film outings for the society, keeping track of the films thatmembers had voted to see, arranging ticket bookings or private showings, andsending out an advance schedule to all members.

    lectures by three well-known film-makers. Freshers week: I organised sponsorship from a national video rental chain to

    enable us to promote the society by giving discount cards to new members. I successfully managed the social budget.

    I raised money to pay for my own flight. I had responsibility for planning teaching sessions. I mentored the elder children to take over as prefects and assist with after-school

    programmes. I established a sports league for the different years. It has now grown and includes

    four more local schools. I spent three months travelling around South America after the programme ended.
