Adjectives Adjectives are words that describe or modify

another person or thing in the sentence

An adjective is a word that modifies a noun

Example:

A) The cake is delicious

B) My rabbit is naughty

Personality Adjectives Personality adjectives are words that describe

the personality of a person.

They can be divided into two categories:

A) Positive personality adjectives

B) Negative personality adjectives

They`re funny ( positive)

He`s lazy ( negative)

He`s stupid ( negative)

Feeling adjectives

She`s happy / glad

Feeling adjectives are words that describe the feelings of a person.

He`s sad

Appearance adjectives Appearance adjectives are words that

describe the appearance of a person.

It can be divided into two groups : positive and negative.

He`s handsome ( positive)

She`s pretty( positive)

He`s fat

She`s ugly

Condition adjectives Condition adjectives are words that describe

the situation of a person.

They are clever

She`s careful

Size adjectives Size adjectives are words that describe the

size of a person.

That dog is taller than the other.

That girl is fatter than the other girl.
