MTC STRATEGYPRESENTATION
MTC
INTRODUCTION
Hello, I am Ioannis Panagiotopoulos and I'll tell you
about proposed strategy MTC have to follow to reduce
the impact of the tax increase.
MTC
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
MTC faces the problem of imposing a new tax that has an
impact on its earnings.
MTC needs to change its supply chain strategy more widely.
Supply chain control will give it greater control over the
process.
It is necessary to redesign the volume of stocks and how they
are replenished, ie production.
Reviewing and adjusting relationships with key-decision makers
is needed to reduce intermediate costs and bring its customers
closer.
Introducing innovative products and rebuilding customer
relationships will lead to long-term strategic alliances.
MTC
MTC will have to cut down on intermediate stationsin the supply chain to gain greater control over it.Replacing part of the distributors with 3PL is
imperative.
MTC
STOCKS AND PRODUCTION
We observe that MTC replaces the quantities sold
through the production process equally. At the same time
it keeps a large volume of stocks.
Reducing inventories by half and steady production will
free up company resources while reducing costs.
MTC
Sales representatives are
important people as key
decision makers. But their
salaries are very high.
It is advisable to reduce the
salaries of sales
representatives and keep
them as high salaries for a
limited number of them, who
will have an advisory role
with customers.
The result will be cost
savings and the provision of
consulting services to
physicians.
Redefining customer
relationships is about
focusing on creating
strategic partnerships.
The win-win
philosophy, the quality
of service, the
introduction of
innovative solutions
and co-creation are
the guarantees for a
promising future.
MTC
So we suggest following the above
specific actions in order that will release
resources for to reduce costs ...
We propose additional actions with
respect to customers, with a long-term
perspective of common interest.
ONE RISK WE THINK MTC WILL FACE IS THECHANGE IN DISTRIBUTION NETWORK. IT ISNOT EASY AND MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS DUE
TO THE GREAT POWER OF THEDISTRIBUTORS.
CAREFUL STUDY IS REQUIRED TOGRADUALLY REPLACE SOME OF THEDISTRIBUTORS WITH 3PL, WHILE
ATTEMPTING TO INCORPORATE THECOMPANY'S PRODUCTS INTO HOSPITAL
PRODUCT CATALOGS.
MTC THANK YOU!
