ELLIOTT WICKWARMANAGING SURVEYOR

An experienced Surveyor with over 15 years of industry knowledge spanning

Transportation in both Highways and Rail, together with a thorough knowledge of

infrastructure projects, including Water, Gas and Power. Elliott has been able to utilise

his previous experience and acquired knowledge, utilising qualifed procedure systems

on problem sites requiring Land Remediation to eliminate hazardous materials and

provide extensive recycling of non-contaminated materials. This expertise ranges from

upgrading, refurbishment or new works for small projects to multi million pound

developments for major contracting organisations. He provides expert advice in cost

management, contractual audits, sub-contractor procurement systems and

streamlining day to day operations which includes contractual knowledge of NEC and

ICE contracts.

STEVE DENYERMANAGING SURVEYOR

An extremely competent, hardworking and tenacious Quantity Surveyor with over 20

years experience on a range of multi million-pound construction projects covering Civils,

Design & Build, Rail, Hospitals and Retail sectors working under various JCT & NEC forms

of contracts. Steve demonstrates strong negotiating and problem solving skills to

ensure all tasks are completed within the agreed timescales and to the required

standards, including considerable dispute resolution experience.


BRENT MAARTENS Bsc (Hons)MANAGING SURVEYOR

Brent began his construction career in South Africa over 12 years ago and has been

working in the UK for the last 7 years. His experience includes a wide range of projects

ranging from single subcontract accounts through to managing multi-million pound

contracts for major contractors. His contractual experience includes both JCT and NEC

suite of contracts. His broad base of experience spans refurbishments, new build as well

as civil engineering projects. Having worked for both Main Contractors and

Subcontractors, he fully understands, appreciates and is able to provide positive

guidance to obtain the best contractual beneft for our clients.

IAN BRAZIER AmInstCESMANAGING DIRECTOR

A highly skilled and experience Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor with over 30

years of experience that cover all aspects of the construction industry. Predominantly,

Ian is involved in the day to day management of the Adeo group of businesses, but also

specialises in dispute resolution and one of specifc commissions where a dynamic and

unconventional approach is called for. Over the 30 years of his experience, starting from

Quantity Surveyor of a major Civil Engineering and Tunnelling Contractor to heading and

forming a multi-million pound multi-disciplinary consultancy business, Ian has achieved

many accolades for his ability to assess commercial situations where a pragmatic,

straight forward and honest approach is called for.


BILL MANSELLOPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Having over 25 years of experience working in the construction industry, Bill supports

Ian with the day-to-day operations of the company, together with working closely with

David in the general development and expansion of Adeo. In particular Bill has, over the

last two years, facilitated Adeo's growth within the Rail sector. Additionally, he is a

highly motivated individual and extremely client focussed. He has worked for over 15

years within the Commercial and Residential Development sector gaining a thorough

understanding and appreciation of this market.


DAVID FRENCH-GREENSLADE MCIM MCIHTBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

A Chartered Marketeer with a career centred on the construction industry which has

been focused on business development, sales and marketing, client care and key

account management, with additional advertising, brand management, corporate

identity, market research, public relations and press launch expertise.

Industry wide experience of over 30 years has included a multinational civil engineering

design consultancy, a civil engineering and specialist surfacing contractor, a house

builder, property developer and a construction products manufacturer.


MARK BATTEN Bsc. MRICS CESMMPRE-CONTRACT DIRECTOR

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years experience in both Professional QS

and contracting environments who has managed and successfully completed

demanding projects for major blue chip Clients within Public, Educational, Health,

Residential, Transportation and Commercial sectors. An extremely competent cost

manager who gets intimately involved at the inception of construction projects. He

specialises in pre-contract, ranging from the production of fully detailed SMM7/CESMM

bills of quantities, producing feasibility studies, cost plans and initial funding reports

through the pre-contract stages of tender document preparation, contract negotiation

and fnal award. He has a comprehensive understanding of the JCT suite of contracts

and procurement routes and utilises his experience gained on multi-phased projects,

working in occupied building, listed buildings and restricted sites.


KEVIN MATTHEWSPOST-CONTRACT DIRECTOR

With over 25 years experience within the construction sector, Kevin has provided

commercial guidance across the whole spectrum of the construction industry, from

small refurbishment schemes up to multi-million pound major contractor developments.

He has a detailed knowledge of procurement and contract tendering utilising both JCT

minor works suites and NEC Government Contract documentation. Kevin has an innate

ability to quickly assimilate complex situations and understands how to resolve

disputes to establish clear solutions to positive outcomes.


ANNA WALKERHR AND CLIENT LIAISON MANAGER

Anna has over 15 years Recruitment and HR experience and joined the company in 2005

specifcally to source and recruit frst class Quantity Surveyors into the Adeo teams.

She is an excellent communicator and able to form strong and lasting relationships with

clients as she quickly grasps their needs for a project, be it in the UK or overseas. Anna

has specialised in headhunting and search and select on an international level for high

profle blue chip clients and in recent years with Adeo, has worked with major national

and international companies sourcing Planners, Estimators, Contract Managers, Health

& Safety and QA/QC Managers for projects outside of the UK.
