SummaryDuring my 30+ years of research and teaching experience I have dealt with many projects in various areas ofplant research ranging from plant physiology/biochemistry to plant ecology and functional genomics. This hasenabled me to become a competent plant physiologist with a strong background in stress physiology, functionalgenomics, high throughput phenotypic analysis, crop trait discovery, and phytoremediation. I have broadtraining and extensive research experience in subcellular and whole plant physiology, plant responses toenvironmental stresses, metal and salinity tolerance in plants, plant nutrition, plant biochemistry,plant-soil-microbial interactions, wetland and upland plant ecology, and hydroponic, greenhouse and fieldgrowing procedures.
