• A free tool that allows you to layer follow, share, and recommend function to your website
Step 1
• Hover over “Get Code” to reveal menu
Step 2
• Select “Smart Layers”
Step 3
• Follow? – If you have Facebook, Twitter, etc., paste in the
page URL – If not, turn the feature off
Step 4
• Share buttons – How many options do you want to add? – Users can always find more using the “More” plus
sign button – Which side of the screen is best?
• Current county websites: right
Step 5
• “What’s Next” option: turn on or off
Step 6
• “Recommended for you” option: turn on or off
Step 7
• Select background color for layers
Step 8
• Click “Generate the Code,” click “Grab it”
Step 9
• Go to your homepage, login as administrator • Click on “List/Edit Pages”
Step 10
• Click on “County Links” – this is Drupal layer that will allow you to seamlessly blend the AddThis buttons to every page on your website
Step 11
• Click “Edit” • Click “Disable rich-text”
Step 12
• Scroll to the bottom of the code and paste in the copied code from AddThis after the text

• Click “Save” • The AddThis buttons should appear
