On The Cover: As a great sign of the whole message truly coming from God, a marvelous miracle
was worked in the sky above Fatima before 70,000 witnesses on October 13, 1917 at the time, date and place that Lucy and the other two children had prophesied in the name of Our Lady of Fatima. The children were told by Our Lady that God would perform a miracle so that people would believe in the apparitions. The date the children was October 13, 1917, in Fatima. On that date, 70,000 peo-ple came to see the phenomenon. The miracle occurred with the sun. All could stare perfectly at the sun without blinking, or even hurting heir eyes. While all were watching the sun, it rotated, got large and small, got close to the people, and got far away from them. The sun " Danced ". Every single person who was there testified to seeing the sun dance, even non- believers who immediately dropped onto their knees and begged for forgiveness. AMEN!

Hello Brother Knights of Oxnard Council 750, hope all is well with you and your families. I’d like to say that not too much happened in the Month of September but fasten your seatbelts for these upcoming months. I’ll let
our DGK David Morales explain our upcoming events in his article. So, I’d like to go ahead and thank those for the events that did take place last month. On Saturday Septem-ber 9th, we had our annual Dodger Excursion trip to Dodger Stadium. It was a nice evening where we watched our Dodg-ers play the Colorado Rockies in the all-you-can-eat pavilion. Our Dodgers lost 6-5 but it was nice to have fellowship with Br. Knights, families and friends. Thank you PGK Hector Nava for providing a bus trip for us and PGK Robert Sanchez for making this trip possible. Go Dodgers and let’s win it all!! Thanks to all who have been helping out for our Monday Night Football games. PGK Nick Delgado and Rey Garza lead the lounge as we had a great crowd for our 1st Monday Night action. Thanks to those who also help out in the kitchen for our snack bar menu yummies. Br. Ruben Mur-rieta and Br. Javier Figueroa help lead the crew in the kitchen. Keep up the work everyone. On September 12th, we had a great Father/Son Night where our Br. Knight and re-tired Captain of the Sheriffs’ Dept. Mike Aranda, shared
some of his memories and mo-ments with our families. Thank you Br. Mike for taking a little
time of your evening to share with our families. Also, thank you PGK Rick Frenes and the Kitchen Crew for your dinner and dessert and also for serving all of us. Thank you Br. Knights to those who can make it to Football Detail for SCHS home football games. We really need to make an attempt to be there for our schools as they really do depend on us. Come on out and give us a hand. A mass of brothers really does look better than a handful. To end the month, I’d like to thank all our members on the 1st Degree Team who help out our Ceremony for our newly inducted Br. Knights. The more support we show our new brothers, the more likely they will help out at our functions. Please make an attempt to attend our ceremonial. That’s all for now brothers. May God con-tinue to bless us all and our families. Thank you. Robert L. Ortega Grand Knight

Friends, Romans, and Country Mice; I have not come to bury you but to praise you. AMEN. Well, we are back from our vacation and everything went well. In the 2,000 mile
adventure we only saw one accident on the way back and a few misc. little critters on the road. On the way up we camped out in Sacramento, California, Grants Pass, Oregon, and Kennewick, Washington. We got to visit my nephew in Madras, Oregon. We got to dine in the Dalles, Oregon along the great Columbia River and followed the river all the way to Kennewick, Washington. Many many wonder sights and scenery going up and back. I look for to our next trip in the Spring. Contemplating moving to Albany, Oregon or Klamath Falls, Oregon, or the Dalles, Oregon. Maybe Weed, Califor-nia. Most likely to Burbank Washington. We missed you all and are very happy to be back. Our Saints for the Oct. Calen-dar include St. Therese the little flower, Oct.1st. Our Guard-ian Angels, Oct. 2nd. St. Francis of Assisi, Oct. 4th. Our Lady of the Rosary, Oct. 7th. St. Teresa of Avila, Oct. 15th. and of course All Hallows' Eve on Oct. 31st also known as Halloween in the secular world. This is the eve of all Saints Day on Nov. 1st. All the months after Pentacost till Advent are consid-ered Ordinary Time on our Church Calendar and do not focus on any particular Mystery of Christ, but views all the Mystery of Christ in all its aspects. Because of that we have more time focus on the life of throughout the extended periods of time in Ordinary Time. We never take a vacation from focusing on the life of Christ. Our Blessed Mother convalidates that with the help of the Rosary when she presented it to St. Dominic for the very first time ( Feast Day is August 8th ). I love Octo-ber because it is the time we notice a change in the sea-son. It gets a little windier, a little cooler and the leaves of the trees start changing into beautiful colors of orange or red or yellow. next year we are going on vacation in October because it will be a beautiful wonderland of colors,
YIPPEE. Our entire lives are like the changing of the sea sons. The Book of Ecclesiastes speaks to us of that in Chapter 3 Versus 1 to 8. The Byrds sing about it in their song " Turn Turn Turn / released in 1965 ", the year I graduated from High School. YAHOO ! The FIRST Sunday Gospel reading ( Oct. 1st ) the Lord speaks to us on the true meaning of OBE-DIENCE. The SECOND Sunday Gospel reading ( Oct. 8th ) the Lord speaks to us about the importance of LISTENING to God's Word, or as our Blessed Mother pondered every word her Son spoke. The THIRD Gospel reading ( Oct. 15th ) the Lord speaks to us about the great INVITATION and it's obliga-tions, that is RSVP ( French ; Repondez S'il Vous Plait, mean-ing " Please Respond ". The Lord said many are invited but few are chosen. If you don't RSVP, you may not find yourself in the great Parousia (the Second and of Christ ). The FOURTH Sunday Gospel reading ( Oct 22nd ) teaches us the importance of keeping our values in proper PERSPECTIVE or do we compromise ourselves to the world. The devil's trap is the entertainment industry and it works very well for him because he doesn't have to do a darn thing anymore. We do it for him. We spend most of our free time on world values and not on the Kingdom of God on earth, Id Est, The Church Militant. Yes, we are in the mix fighting for our Eternal Lives and only focusing on our Tem-poral Lives. Imagine that. What foolish-ness ! The FIFTH Sunday reading (Oct. 29th ) teaches us to keep our relationship with God as simple as humanly possi-ble. Or as St. Augustine said " Love God and do what you wish ". Well, I hope this sharing of words has cheered you up as it has me. May God bless all of you as he has his Church. Your faithful Servant, Michael T. Hernandez, Chancellor
