2. Before first use wash all parts in hot soapy water. Then sterilize all parts according to the instructions in number 13. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.

5. Make sure the slit in the vent is open before feeding by pressing lightly on the vent tip.

6. Screw the base with the vent onto the bottom of the bottle.

7. Pour the liquid into the bottle and heat to 37°C/98°F.. Mix the formula according to the manufacturer’s instructions.Do not pour boiling liquid into the bottle

9. If you decide to prepare the formula inside the bottle, mix gently in a twisting action. Do not shake the bottle.

10. As an extra precaution, check the temperature of the feed by shaking a few drops onto the back of your hand before feeding.

12. After feeding, disassemble all the parts and wash in hot, soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to wash the bottle and its parts as these may cause damage.

13. After the bottle and all parts have been carefully cleaned, sterilization is recommended in one of the following methods:

• Place parts in a pan of water and wait for water to boil.

• Remove pan from heat.• Allow parts to float in

the pan for 5 minutes without touching the pan sides.

2. Microwave sterilization: wash all parts thoroughly making sure to remove any oily residue and sterilize according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After sterilization, dry all parts ensuring they are separated.

11. Feed your baby by holding him/her in the correct position as shown. Do not leave your baby with the bottle without adult supervision.

8. Pull the nipple through the collar and screw the collar onto the bottle.

When heating the liquid leave the bottle open on the top, without the collar and teat (see illustration).

Microwave heating is not recommended as this can create hot spots which may cause burns. When heating in the microwave mix the liquid well before serving.
