Addition of The French Flag

Why choosing the flag?

• We have chosen to use the French flag to represent our alliances and our long lasting celebration of Anglo French relations by using both flags throughout the video. But with this we are also paying tribute to France as they have suffered from continuous terrorist attacks throughout 2015, as a group we believe that this is a respectful way to pay tribute to the disasters in France this year.

The main reason…• The main reason that we are using this flag is

because we are relating the sing lyrics ‘Don’t be so hard on yourself’, to the Olympic games which is why we have included another flag in this case the French Flag. Also using other nationalities within our music video helps us to reach to our wider demographic audience when making the artist and the fans feel ever more connected with each other, which is important when increasing the artists image as well as increasing brand/name recognition.

The effects on artist• With this should boost popularity amongst a wide

range of fans that have different nationalities as well as cultures. Having a fan to artist culture also helps with boosting sales revenue whether it’s music, merchandise such as clothing / music products i.e. Beats headphones by Dr Dre or basic banners and posters. By adopting this personal relationship with fans will lead to an increase in success for the artist herself. Therefore these are the reasons why we have included another flag within our video as we believe it is important not to have Great Britain at the spotlight of attention as it will limit us in terms of creating a close relationship between the artist and the fans.
