Steps for an ADP Workforce Now
Administrator to add a SnapEval icon to
the home page of the organization’s
Workforce Now instance. This enables
all employees to access their individual
SnapEval account directly from
Workforce Now.
Adding the
SnapEval
application
launch icon to
ADP Workforce
Now home page
1
Introduction
SnapEval and the ADP Marketplace provide multiple ways for users to access their SnapEval
account using their ADP User ID and password. This includes the following:
Clicking on the SnapEval icon in the My Apps area of the ADP Marketplace
Clicking on the ‘Login with ADP’ icon on the SnapEval login page
Clicking on the ‘Login with ADP’ button in the SnapEval mobile app
2
Employees at many organizations using ADP Workforce Now frequently login to their personal
Workforce Now account to access a variety of payroll and benefits services. For these
organizations, it can also helpful for employees to access their personal SnapEval account
directly when logged into their ADP Workforce Now account.
To do this, ADP Workforce Now Practitioners (Administrators) for their organization can add a
SnapEval launch icon to the ‘Take Me To…’ area of the Workforce Now home page for all of
their employees.
3
When an employee taps the SnapEval icon, they’ll see a notification that they are leaving ADP.
They will click the ‘OK’ button to proceed.
If the employee has logged in to SnapEval previously, they’ll be taken directly to their personal
SnapEval account!
4
If this is the first time that the employee has tried to login to SnapEval, they’ll see the ADP
Consent form to share their information with the SnapEval application.
To proceed, they’ll click the ‘Allow’ button and they will be taken directly to their own SnapEval
account.
If they inadvertently click the ‘Deny’ button (and the subsequent ‘Are you sure?’ button), they
can simply browse to https://adpapps.adp.com/consent-manager while still logged into their
ADP account to allow the SnapEval app.
5
If an ADP Marketplace administrator hasn’t assigned the employee to the SnapEval app in the
ADP Marketplace (so they’re not authorized to access SnapEval), then the employee will see an
access denied notification from SnapEval.

Setting up the SnapEval Icon & Link on the Workforce Now Homepage
The steps to setup the SnapEval icon and link in the “Take Me To…” area of the Workforce Now
home page are easy.
1. Start by downloading the SnapEval icon to your computer.
2. Then, login to Workforce Now as an Administrator
7
3. Click on the dropdown menu by the Administrator Name in the upper right hand corner
of the page and select “Configuration.”
8
4. On the ‘Pages’ menu, click on the ‘Select Page’ dropdown and choose the ‘Quick Links’
page.
9
5. After selecting the ‘Quick Links’ page from the dropdown menu, select the Content area
that you want to display in the ‘Quick Links’ area on the homepage, or create a new
Content area by clicking the ‘+ ADD’ link below the page title. In our example, we’ll
select the ‘Quick Links new Logos’ content.
10
6. In the Editor, click on the area below the toolbar to focus on this area of the page. Then,
click on the ‘Insert Image’ icon in the toolbar.
11
7. Click on the ‘Upload’ tab.
8. Click on the ‘Select Files’ link.
12
9. Select the SnapEval icon file that you downloaded earlier to your computer and then
click the ‘Open’ button.
13
10. Next, click the ‘Upload’ button. You’ll then see a message indicating that the file
successfully uploaded from your computer to Workforce Now.
14
11. Use the scroll bar on the right side to scroll down to the images. You’ll then see the
SnapEval logo that you just uploaded.
12. Next, click on the icon.
15
13. You’ll see the Image Properties. Then click on the ‘Set’ button.
14. The SnapEval logo now appears in the area below the toolbar.
16
15. Next, we have to assign the link to launch the SnapEval app when the icon is clicked. To
do this first start by highlighting the SnapEval icon.
16. Now, with the SnapEval icon still highlighted, click on the ‘Link’ icon in the toolbar.
17
17. Type in the URL link: https://app.snapeval.com/ser/adp.
18. Then use the scroll bar on the right side to scroll down and select ‘New Window’ as the
‘Target.’
18
19. Then click the ‘Set’ button.
19
20. The next step is to select the types of Workforce Now users that will see the link on their
Workforce Now home page when the login. This is typically the ‘Standard Employee,’
‘Standard Manager,’ ‘Standard Practitioner,’ and may also include ‘Standard Time and
Attendance Supervisor.’ Depending on how roles are configured in your Workforce Now
instance, these may be different. To assign the profiles, select them from the ‘Available
Profiles’ list and then click the ‘Move Selected Right’ arrow button to move them to the
‘Selected Profiles’ list
20
21. The next step is to ‘uncheck’ the ‘Hide’ checkbox if it’s checked. This way it will be visible
on the Workforce Now home page.
21
22. Now click the ‘Done’ button.
22
23. Make sure that the ‘Hide’ checkbox for the content that you’ve just created is
‘unchecked.’ Then, click on the ‘Save’ button to save your work.
23
24. You’ll then see a notification that the content has been saved. Next, click on the ‘Home’
icon to configure the layout of the home page.
24
25. The ‘Quick Links’ content will need to be included in the layout of the home page for it
to be visible for all users. To do this, select a new layout with space for the Quick Links
content, or delete other content that you don’t want to display by clicking on the ‘X’ in
the upper right and corner of the content. Then, drag the ‘Quick Links’ content to the
empty space in the layout where you would like it to appear. Note that every area on
the layout form must have content, or you won’t be allowed to save the changes. In
other words, there can’t be any rectangles that say ‘Drag and drop pages here.’ If there
are any rectangles that say this and you don’t have any additional content that you want
to add to the home page, choose a new layout with fewer rectangles. When you’ve
completed this process, click the ‘Save’ button to save your changes.
25
26. Click the ‘Yes’ button in the dialog box to confirm that this update to the layout will
appear on the Workforce Now homepage for all of your employees.
27. A notification message will confirm that the changes have been saved. Now click the
‘Back’ button to close this page.
26
28. Next, click the ‘Refresh’ button on your browser to refresh your home page.
29. The new content with the SnapEval launch icon should appear in the ‘Take Me To…’ area
of the home page.
27
30. Click on the SnapEval icon.
31. A notification from ADP Workforce Now will indicate that you’re about to leave
Workforce Now (a new tab will actually be open in your browser in addition to the one
open with Workforce Now). Click the ‘OK’ button to continue.
28
32. If you’re assigned to the SnapEval app in the ADP Marketplace, your SnapEval account
will be open immediately in a new tab in your browser.
33. That’s it! All of your employees should now be able to access their own SnapEval
account directly from their own ADP Workforce Now home page!
