Click Devices and printers

Select Add a printer:

Select: Add a network printer Windows will search for printers

on the network

Adding drivers: This can happen in a few different ways. Windows may

recognize the printer and add it automatically, you may be prompted to

find the driver from a list, or you will have the driver and point windows to

it. If your printer is on the list, select it and click next. If not, follow

instructions on the next page.

If the printer is not on the list choose ‘Windows Update’. This will take a

few minutes and the hope is that windows will update the driver database

to include the needed driver. If you still do not see the printer you will

need to download a driver. Go to the printer manufacture’s website to

download the driver for the printer.

After downloading the driver; click ‘have disk’, choose ‘browse’ and

find the driver you just downloaded. Click OK and you will see the

list of printer the driver can be used for. Find the model you need

and choose it.

The Printer will be installed. For this installation DO NOT

share the printer.

You will receive a prompt that your printer has been

added. Do print a test page to test connectivity to the

printer.
