Co-located onsite wiith Pozières will be Arthur Blackburn VC Gardens – an 80-bed residential aged care home (providing both low and high care). The new home will feature multiple lounge rooms and dining areas, aquariums, a beautiful secure garden courtyard and a dementia-specific wing.

The home will include:

• Multiple dining rooms

• Spacious, sun-drenched terraces and gardens

• A beautiful open-air internal garden courtyard

• Shared living areas

• Delightful aviaries and aquariums which can be viewed from the dining and lounge area

• A hairdresser

The type and amount of care a person receives is dependent on what is needed to maintain his or her ‘normal’ lifestyle and will include assistance with basic activities of daily living (eating, bathing and grooming, toilet help, dressing, transport, etc.) in which a resident may require help or supervision.

Skilled care will be provided for those who need medical or nursing care or rehabilitative services for the rehabilitation of injured, disabled or sick persons. Specialist dementia care accommodation will give residents the best quality life in a safe and supportive environment.

A personalised activities program will also be available to all residents and a village bus will also be available to take residents for regular social outings to local places of interest.
