"On August 1 , 2005, Brownsville Public Utilities Board issued $220,580,000 in aggregate principal amount of Utilities System Revenue Improvement and Refunding Bonds, Series 2005A and 2005B. The bonds were issued to refund $27,420,000 of the Series 1992 Utility System Priority Revenues Bonds; $73,010,000 of the Series 1995 Utility System Priority Revenue Refunding Bonds; $100,000,000 of the Series 2001A and 2001B Utility System Subordinate Lien Revenue and Refunding Bonds; and $7,250,000 of Commercial Paper Notes Series A of the Pub prior to their stated maturity to achieve a debt service savings and to pay costs related to the issuance of the Bonds."
