The following items will amend the Contract Documents or provide clarification and are to be considered a part of the Bid Documents. Information provided in this addendum supersedes and supplements all portions of the Bid and Construction Documents with which it conflicts.

General: Description:

Filed Sub-Bid Results

Refer to the attached bid tabulation for the filed sub-bid results.

Civil/ Structural/Arch Datum Elevation

Civil Elevation 69.5' correlates to the Arch/Structural Elevation 0'-0" - Refer to Drawing A201.

Re-Use of On-Site Excavated Materials

Existing clean, on-site excavated materials may be re-used if proctor tested by the Owner's Testing Agent, amended as required to meet either general or structural fill requirements, and then re-proctor tested by Owner's Testing Agent to confirm amended materials meet the requirements for either general or structural fill. After passing, re-use of said amended materials may be used on site. Excess materials must be removed from Owner's property. Contractor may also import fill as required for general or structural fill. The cost of either option and associated Work must be included in the Base Bid.

Existing Site Conditions

1. The existing conditions shown on Drawing C-10 Revised is meant to depict the existing conditions after completing Phase I Demolition. Grading and removal of pavements within the property confines is already complete. Removal of existing parking lot(s) pavement and sub-base is required as part of the GC scope of work and base bid of this Project.

2. The General Contractor is responsible for all Work necessary within the right-of-way for execution of the Work shown on the Contract Documents. Coordination with the Town will be required.

Site Utility Questions 1. Grayed out items identified on Dwg C-4 are being installed by the Town. 2. Lengths indicated on drainage lines are for overall length of the line. The General Contractor is

responsible for the pipe (full tone) and for extending it 1 foot beyond the curb into the right-of-way pavement. The Town is responsible for the remainder. Refer to Note #2.1.

3. The lines installed by the Town will be left "stubbed-out" and indicated with a marker stake. 4. The work executed by the Town is on-going. It is anticipated that most of the work will be complete

"a. Unclassified excavation includes the satisfactory removal and disposal of all materials (except, blast rock, bedrock, contaminated materials as defined below; and unidentified foundations, curbs, utilities, unsuitable fill and pavements) encountered regardless of the nature of the materials. Materials shall be understood to include but not be limited to earth, hardpan and debris.
