Make the following amendments and additions to the Drawings and Specifications, and includethis cost in the Contract Price.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION AND RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS

1. Walls running along Gridline “7A" and Gridline “12" are fire separations. Provide firedampers and fire stopping for services penetrating the separations.

2. For Sealed Hatch Systems called up on Structural Drawing S1.2, use EJ Access HatchSystem, Series ALN, or equivalent. System to be pedestrian rated with epoxy paintedsafety grate for fall through protection; aluminum construction with aluminum cover plate;heavy duty stainless steel hinges. Coordinate and confirm all dimensions on site.

Q1. Are we required to carry the costs of a Building Permit and if so can you pleaseindicate the cost per thousand or a lump sum cost.

A1. Yes. Use 1% of Bid Price for determination of Permit Fees.

Q2. Can you clarify if your intent is to paint the Aluminum ducting on the job.

A2. Aluminum ducting is not required to be painted.

Q3. Section 15260 - 2.4.1.3 - Finish all insulated piping with Aluminum Jacket. Is this required on piping in Concealed spaces (above ceiling)?

A3. See Addendum items below for revisions to Insulation Specifications.

Q4. Is there an Alternate Jacket for Refrigeration Piping?

A4. Yes. See Addendum items below for revisions to Insulation Specifications.

Q5. Does Condensate Drains require Insulation?

Q6. On Drawing A3, detail 1, it asks to remove existing glazing and provide newaluminum blank out panels. There is no elevations of this so we do not know thesizes/quantity needed. Can you please clarify?

A6. Blank out panels no longer needed. See Addendum items below and attached forfurther information.

Use Venture Tape Model 1577CW-E tape,minimum 100 mm (4O width) at all butt joints and longitudinal joints.

6. Revise Clause 3.3.4 to read:

Aluminum Covering: In all indoor locations where the insulation will be exposedto view, and for refrigeration piping exposed to weather, finish with aluminum jacket.Apply aluminum jacket over insulation with 15 mm x 0.38 mm (1/2O x 0.015O)stainless steel banding at 300 mm (12O) o/c. Overlap all joints at least 80 mm (3O)with longitudinal joint - lapped to the weather. Self adhesive aluminum covering willbe acceptable in lieu of aluminum covering. Follow manufacturer’s installationrecommendations.

7. Add Clause 3.5.1.4: “Insulate range hood exhaust duct.”

The following information supplements and/or supersedes the bid documents issued on September 18, 2013. This Addendum forms part of the contract documents and is to be read, interpreted, and coordinated with all other parts. The cost of all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum.
