Item No. SP10 – Specification Section 03300 – Cast-In-Place Concrete Refer to Specification section 03300 paragraph 3.4 VAPOR RETARDERS. Replace Item A. with the following:

A. Vapor Retarder: Place, protect, and repair vapor-retarder sheets according to ASTM E 1643 and manufacturer's written instructions; place sheets in position with longest dimension parallel with direction of pour.

1. Level and compact base material. 2. Extend vapor barrier to the perimeter of the slab. If practicable, terminate

it at the top of the slab, otherwise (a) at a point acceptable to the structural engineer or (b) where obstructed by impediments (such as dowels, waterstops, or any other site condition requiring early termination of the vapor barrier). At the point of termination, seal vapor barrier to the foundation wall, grade beam or slab itself.

3. Lap joints 6 inches (150 mm) and seal with manufacturers recommended tape.

4. Apply seam tape to a clean and dry vapor barrier. 5. Seal all penetrations (including pipes) per manufacturer’s instructions. 6. Avoid the use of non-permanent stakes driven through vapor retarder. 7. If non-permanent stakes are driven through vapor retarder, repair as

recommended by vapor retarder manufacturer. 8. Repair damaged areas with vapor barrier material of similar (or better)

permeance, puncture and tensile. Item No. SP11 – Specification Section 08410 – Aluminum Entrances and Curtain Wall Refer to Specification section 08410, Paragraph 1.2 Products, Item E.1. This should read “Finish to be Clear Anodized Aluminum”. CIVIL ITEMS Item No. C1 – Drawing Sheet C2.0 – Parking Lot Underdrains Refer to Drawing Sheet C2.0 dated February 19, 2016. At each of the (7) shown Catch Basins provide the following: (4) 10 l.f. 4” diameter sock-tubes backfilled with 6” min. pea stone cover to be located in the lower portion of the 12” sand sub base and to be sloping 1% to Catch Basin. These are to extend diagonally from each Catch Basin. Item No. C2 – Irrigation System Refer to Drawing Sheet C3.0 dated February 19, 2016. See additional information pertaining to the irrigation system on attached Sketch SK1 dated March 24, 2016. Item No. C3 – Curb Details

Refer to attached sketch SK2 dated March 24, 2016. Detail 1/SK2 is the curb detail for the new entry drive connection to the existing street. Detail 2/SK2 is the curb detail for the islands located within the parking lot area. Detail 3/SK2 is a section through the existing sidewalk in the R.O.W. at the new entry drive location, the existing sidewalk is to be removed back far enough (6’-0” min.) to provide the Barrier Free ramp modification at the new entry drive curb cut. STRUCTURAL ITEMS Item No. S1 – Footing Elevation Clarification Refer to attached sketch SSK1 dated March 24, 2016 for Bottom of Footing Elevation Diagram. Item No. S2 – Engineering Data, Concrete Mix Guidelines and Steel Notes Refer to attached sketches SSK2 and SSK3 dated March 24, 2016 for additional Engineering Data, Concrete Mix Guidelines and Steel Notes. ARCHITECTURAL ITEMS Item No. A1 – Veneer Stone Clarification Refer to Drawing Sheets A2.0 and A3.1 dated February 19, 2016. Wall section 1 on sheet A3.1 shows the Stone Veneer stopping just below the finish floor line. The stone veneer should extend down on the foundation wall to within the Manufacturers clearance of the line of grade as shown on the Elevations on drawing sheet A2.0. Item No. A2 – Mail Slots Clarification Refer to Mail Room Elevations 21 & 21 on Drawing Sheet A4.0 dated February 19, 2016. The noted Mail Slots as selected by Owner are to be wood adjustable literature organizer by Safeco or equal. Total slots to be at minimum of 100. Item No. A3 – Aluminum Clad Wood Window Jamb Clarification Refer to Detail drawing 6 on sheet A3.1 dated February 19, 2016. A question was asked if the extension jamb and trim is intended to be on all sides of the windows. The answer is that the extension jambs and trim is intended to be on all sides of the window, this is to be included in the base bid. Alternate No. 6 ask for pricing to omit the extension jambs and trim and to provide a drywall return back to the window. Item No. A4 – Aluminum Clad Wood Window / Cement Board Siding Clarification All aluminum clad wood windows are intended to have a 1x4 cement board trim on all sides that abut with cement board siding. 1x4 trim boards are also intended to be used to terminate corner and edge conditions of cement board siding. Item No. A5 – Barrier Free Toilet Signs See attached sketch SK3 dated March 24, 2016. Provide ADA compliant toilet room signage per sketch.

Item No. A6 – High Impact Resistant Glass Clarification Refer to Drawing Sheet A7.0 dated February 19, 2016. Borrowed Lite Frames at Observation Rooms 151 & 180 are noted to have High Impact Resistant Glass, the intent for this glass is to be heat strengthened laminated. INTERIORS ITEMS Item No. I1 – Vinyl Base Clarification Refer to Drawing Sheets I2.0 and I2.1 dated February 19, 2016. In the Color schedule on sheet I2.0 Vinyl Base is noted with a “VB-1” designation. On sheet I2.1 in the Room Finish Schedule Vinyl Base is noted with a “WB-1” designation. These are intended to be the same. Item No. I2 – Exam Room Counter Clarification Refer to Drawing Sheets A4.0 and I2.1 dated February 19, 2016. Exam Room Interior Elevations 13 and 14 on A4.0 note the countertops to be Solid Surface and the Room Finish Schedule on I2.1 indicates the counters to be HPL. The HPL is what should be used for these countertops. It should be noted that these counters are to have a square corner condition with bullnose edges. Item No. I3 – Reception Desk Clarification Refer to Drawing Sheets I1.1 and A1.2 dated February 19, 2016. The reception counter finishes are to be Solid Surface for all counters in the Reception Area, that includes the 42” high counter areas “transaction tops” and the 30” high work surface tops. The vertical face of the reception area as noted in detail 3 on sheet A1.2 is to be PLAM-1 Item No. I4 – Coat Rack Refer to Drawing Sheet A4.0 dated February 19, 2016. The finishes for the shelves and side pieces are all intended to be PLAM-1 as described on drawing sheet I2.0 in the color schedule. Item No. I5 – PLAM Clarification Refer to Drawing Sheets I2.0 dated February 19, 2016. PLAM-4 color number has a typo, the name is correct as Twilight Zephyr but the color number should read 4845-60. MECHANICAL ITEMS Item No. M1 – Terminal Unit/VAV Clarification Refer to drawing sheets M1.1 and M1.2 dated February 19, 2016. For ducts not indicating a size provide a minimum 12” diameter duct with the equivalent inside clear dimensions per the following: Up to 300 CFM: 12”x10” rectangular or 12” diameter Between 301 and 499 CFM: 12”x12” rectangular or 14” diameter Between 500 and 800 CFM: 14”x12” rectangular or 16” diameter Between 801 and 1500 CFM: 16”x14” rectangular or 18” diameter

Above 1500 CFM: 30”x10” rectangular or 20” diameter See also attached Sketch MSK1 dated March 24, 2016 for revised VAV Box Schedule for inlet sizes to VAV’s. ELECTRICAL ITEMS Item No. E1 – Pump VFD/Disconnect Switch Clarifications The following question was asked: “Mechanical drawing M0.2 notes in the pump schedule that P-1 and P-2 are to be furnished with a VFD, provided by the mechanical contractor. On drawing E0.3, the electrical one-line indicates that the electrical contractor is to install 60A disconnect switches for pumps P-1 and P-2. Please verify that both the VFD and the disconnect switch are required and who is responsible for installing the VFD.” Answer: VFD’s are to be provided with the pumps, the disconnect switch noted on the electrical diagram is to be omitted. The coordination of who will be providing what products will need to be verified with the General Contractors, generally however, the Mechanical Contractor would provide the VFD and the Electrical Contractor would install. Item No. E2 – RTU VFD/Disconnect Switch Clarifications The following question was asked: “Mechanical drawing M0.2 notes in the Rooftop Unit schedule that RTU-1 and RTU-2 are to be furnished with a VFD for the disconnect and the controller. On drawing E0.3 the electrical one-line indicates that the electrical contractor is to install 200A disconnect switches for these units. Please verify that both the VFD and the disconnect switch are required and who is responsible for installing the VFD.” Answer: VFD’s are to be provided with the RTU’s, the disconnect switch noted on the electrical diagram is to be omitted. The coordination of who will be providing what products will need to be verified with the General Contractors, generally however, the Mechanical Contractor would provide the VFD and the Electrical Contractor would install. Item No. E3 – RTU Alternate No. 1 Question regarding the electrical requirements for alternate #1 as it relates to RTU-2. What is the Horse Power ratings of the fans, and the amp draw for the unit as a whole? Answer: Supply Fan will be 15 HP; Return Fan will be 7.5 HP; Unit MCA shall be 120 MCA. Item No. E3 – Light Fixture approved equals See attached light fixtures as acceptable for each of the designated base bid fixtures itemized in the Light Fixture schedule on drawing sheet E0.4.
