Existing Wall Penetrations .1 Even though not noted on drawings, existing wall penetrations / voids in existing walls are to be infilled with similar material. Note that these locations are primarily at removed existing electrical & mechanical ducts / conduits that have been removed. Infill to provide smoke seal only. Also note that fire stopping required at location of fire separations (Drawing A1.1)

.2 As indicated at site visit, General Contractors to be aware that

previous roofing contract is on-going. As also noted, roofing allowance in this tender for existing roofing contractor to complete all requirements.

SPECIFCATIONS

Division 0 Instruction to Bidders 4.2.3 Performance Security: Delete reference to “… retaining for a period of two (2) years and replace with a period of one (1) year.

Division 15 Supplementary General 3.2 Commercial General Liability Insurance Refer to Article 3.

Conditions AddSentence 3.3 to read: “Broad form” property insurance outlined in CCDC-2 2008 Stipulated Price Contract, GC 11.1.1.4 and CCDC 41 CCDC Insurance Requirements, Article 4, shall be provided, maintained and paid for by the Owner”.

Section 06410 Cabinetwork 2.5 Plywood Construction: 5/8” (16mm) is acceptable alternative.

Section 07200 Insulation 2.2 Adhesives & Fasteners: Resisto – Chem-link M1 Structural

Adhesive is an acceptable alternative. Section 10001 Miscellaneous Specialties 4.2 7001 series access ladder (Skyline Group) is acceptable
