This Addendum dated June 29, 2020 for the Henry C. Beck Middle School New Main Entrance Security Vestibule and Main Office Alterations shall be included as part of the Contract Bid Documents. This Addendum shall supplement and clarify the current Contract Bid Documents.

All revisions will be added to the final construction plans.
SHEET KN-1 REVISIONS AND CLAIRIFICATIONS
Notes to be added to the ‘General Construction Notes for Plans’: 1. Note 14. Contractor is required to protect all existing vegetation to remain.2. Note 15. Contractor shall obtain a County Road Opening Permit.3. Note 16. No on site subsurface utility investigations have been performed. Contractor is to verify any and all
on-site utilities, which shall include, but are not limited to; water, gas, electric, and telecommunications, prior tothe commencement of any construction activities. During construction the contractor shall protect any existingutility and associated infrastructure encountered during construction. Contractor shall also be responsible for therepairs of any utility or associated infrastructure damaged due to construction activities at their own expense andshall have it repaired immediately.

On the SITE PLAN, MAIN PARKING LOT BASE BID AND ALTERNATE A – The ACCESSIBLE LOADING, ENTRANCE AND ROUTE SIGN, part of the Base Bid shown at the curb ramp, the leader should be pointing to the sign and shall consist of two signs on (one) 1 post. Accessible loading area sign shall be its own sign. The accessible entrance and route sign will be a directional sign.
2. The contractor shall install a new Accessible Entrance Sign (Non-directional) on the building façade and a new Accessible Entrance tactile touch sign with Braille at the buzzer under the canopy and shall be included as part of the Base Bid. Signs shall be attached with non-corrosive metal fashioners in a minimum or two locations. Refer to the architectural specifications for execution masonry.
