Introduction MC eViewer is an innovative learning and teaching tool to empower students and teachers. It allows students to study independently and collaborate effectively on any of the four different platforms (Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS). It also allows teachers to deliver multimedia-rich lessons in Windows and Mac platforms. MC eViewer is an intuitive learning and teaching tool which is essential for schools in today’s society. The interactive whiteboard tool in eViewer can be connected to the classroom’s interactive whiteboard. Developed by Singapore’s leading educational publisher, MC Education, MC eViewer aims to enhance the learning and teaching journey by offering the best digital solutions. MC eViewer is now able to deliver the latest edition of textbooks with interactive learning and teaching resources so teachers and students can learn any time, any place. Supported Operating Systems Microsoft Windows o Windows 7 & Above Note: Windows 8 (RT) is not supported. Mac OS o OS X 10.10 & Above Android o Android 5.x & Above Note: Please be advised that technical support is only available for Android Tablets. iOS o iOS 9.x & Above Note: Please be advised that technical support is only available for iPad/iPad mini.

Add a New eBook o You can add a new eBook with an access code.

Note: For the following steps, your device has to be connected to the Internet. Step 1: Click / Tap on GETBOOK.

Step 2: Enter your Access Code and then click / tap on GET.

Step 3: The eBook will appear in your MC eViewer. Click / Tap on the

download icon to download the eBook.

Download an eBook

Note: Please take note that if you are trying to download an expired eBook, the MC eViewer will prompt you to renew the expired eBook with an access code.

User can choose to either pause or resume the download of the eBook. Step 1: Click / Tap on the download icon to download the eBook.

During downloading, you can pause the download by clicking on the download icon.

To resume the download, please click on the download icon again.

Please ensure that the Show Not Installed checkbox is “ R ” as shown.

Renew an eBook o You can renew your expired eBook by adding a new access code. Step 1: Click / Tap on the eBook and select RENEW.

Step 2: Type in your Access Code, then click / tap on GET.

Note: Your eBook expiry date will be refreshed to a new date.

Delete Data You may wish to remove an eBook from your device once it has expired. Note: Removing an eBook will free up the storage space of your devices and it can be downloaded again. You can delete the eBook and/or the resources that you have added in the eBook. However, you can choose not to delete the resources that you have added in the eBook by “uncheck” the DELETEUSERDATA. By not deleting the resources, you will be able to access them when you download the eBook again.

Step 1: Click / Tap on the eBook MENUOPTIONicon and select DELETE.

Step 2: Click / Tap on DELETEBOOKand/orDELETEUSERDATA.
