EinleitungBrüssel ist Belgiens Hauptstadt und zugleich das administrative Zentrum der europäischen Union.

Brüssels Einfl üsse sind geprägt von der Koexistenz der französischen und fl ämischen Kultur. Offi ziell werden in der 1.025.000 Einwohner-stadt zwei Sprachen gesprochen, französich und fl ämisch.

Der Flughafen Brussels Airport liegt ganz in der Nähe der fl ämischen Gemeinde Zaventem und dem viel kleineren „Brussels South Airport“, in der Nähe von Charleroi, (Wallonien), ca. 50km vor Brüssel.

Außerdem bietet Brüssel High Speed Zugverbindungen mit dem Thalys nach Amsterdam, Paris, Köln und mit dem Eurostar durch den Kanal-tunnel nach Großbritannien an. Mit dem ICE gelangt man sogar nach Frankfurt.

FaktenSchon immer unterstützte das belgische Königshaus die Ambitionen der Luftfahrt.

Im Jahre 1915 wurde der Zeppelinhangar in Haren fertiggestellt. Von nun an siedelten sich immer mehr Luftfahrtbetriebe und Organisa-tionen an und der Flugverkehr zwischen Brüssel, Paris und London begann.

Schon in den 30er Jahren fl ogen ausländische Airlines Brüssel an.

Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg zog die zivile Luftfahrt nach und nach von Haren nach Melsbroek.

Der Bau an einem neuen Flughafen begann 1956 und beinhaltete die Fertigstellung von Runways und Hangars für das bevorstehende Jetzeitalter.

Die erste Sud-Est SE.210 Caravelle landet am 25. July 1956 in Melsbroek und am 2. July 1970 landete der erste Jumbo in Zaventem.

1985 wurde der Master Plan für die Modernisierung des Airports vorgestellt..

Im Dezember 1994 wurde das neue Terminal fertiggestellt und von König King Albert II eröffnet. Im Mai 2000 folget dann das Pier A welches von Prinz Philip eröffnet wurde.

Heute ist Brüssel ein ständig expandierender internationaler Airport. In den letzten Jahre galt er als “The Best Airport in Europe”.

Installation und OptionenDas Setupprogramm installiert Mega Airport Bussels für den Microsoft Flugsimulator X.

Nach der Sprachauswahl werden Sie zunächst von der Installationsrou-tine begrüßt und Sie erhalten einige wichtige Informationen.Nach Ein-gabe des korrekten Registierungscodes, erhalten Sie folgende Dialoge.

Das Verzeichnis des Flugsimulators wird automatisch gesucht und überprüft. Sollte die Installationsroutine das Microsoft Flugsimulator Verzeichnis nicht fi nden oder Sie möchten ein anderes Verzeichnis vorgeben, so können Sie dieses über den „Durchsuchen“-Button festlegen.

Sie können während des Installationsvorgangs wählen, ob Sie statische Flugzeuge installieren möchten. Diese funktionieren auch in Verbin-dung mit AI-Verkehr, sind aber einfach modelliert. Wir empfehlen die Installation ohne statische Flugzeuge, wenn man AI-Traffi c nutzen möchten. Bevor nun der eigentliche Installationsvorgang beginnt, wer-den die wichtigsten Daten noch einmal zusammengefasst angezeigt.

Die Installationsroutine kopiert nun im Einzelnen die Daten von Lon-don Heathrow in das Zielverzeichnis und meldet die Szenerie in der Szeneriebibliothek an. Zuvor wird von der Scenery.cfg eine Sicherungs-kopie erstellt: „Scenery_CFG_Before_MEGA_AIRPORT_Brussels_was_installed.cfg“.

Deinstallation Das Installationsprogramm hat Mega Airport Brussels in der Windows Registry angelegt. Um sie wieder zu deinstallieren, klicken Sie auf den „Start”-Button in der Taskleiste von Windows. Hier wählen Sie dann „Einstellungen” und dort „Systemsteuerung”. In der Systemsteuerung gibt es ein Symbol „Software”, welches Sie mit einem Doppelklick anklicken. Sie erhalten eine Liste der installierten Programme, unter anderem auch „Aerosoft –Mega Airport Brussels ”. Markieren Sie den Eintrag „Aerosoft –Mega Airport Brussels ” und machen dann darauf einen Doppelklick. Anschließend wird der Aerosoft –Mega Airport Brussels vollständig von Ihrem System entfernt.

Bildwiederholungsrate Um eine möglichst hohe Bildwiederholungsrate im Microsoft Flight Simulator X zu gewährleisten beachte Sie bitte folgende Hinweise:

Die maximale Sichtweite sollte 10-20 Meilen (Siehe Wettereinstellungen). Diese Einstellung wird die Bildwiederholrate erhöhen und ist zudem realistischer.

Sie können sogar die Szeneriekomplexität “Sehr Dicht” zu “Dicht”, zu “Normal” oder zu “Sehr Gering” verändern um eine bessere Bildwie-derholungsrate zu erzielen.

IntroductionBrussels is the capital of Belgium and the administrative centre of the European Union.

Brussels has been given its character by the coexistence of French and Flemish culture. Brussels is offi cially bilingual, French and Dutch. It has a population of 1.025.000 inhabitants.

Brussels is served by Brussels Airport located in the nearby Flemish municipality of Zaventem, and by the much smaller so-called Brussels South Airport, located near Charleroi, (Wallonia), and some 50 km from Brussels.

Brussels is also served by direct high-speed rail links: to the United Kingdom, the Eurostar train via the Channel Tunnel; to Amsterdam, Paris and Cologne by the Thalys and to Cologne and Frankfurt by the German ICE.



Some facts about Brussels AirportFrom the earliest days the Belgian royal house took a keen interest in aviation.

In February 1915 the construction of a zeppelin hangar on the territory of Haren was fi nished and little by little the civil aviation was organized between Brussels and the British and French capitals.

By the middle of 30s several foreign airline companies operated from the airport.

After the Second World War the most of the civil aviation activities were moved from Haren to Melsbroek.

In 1956 the construction of a new airport started. Runways and hangars were adapted to the needs of the jet age.

The fi rst Sud-Est SE.210 Caravelle landed at Melsbroek 25 July 1956.

2 July 1970 the fi rst Jumbo jet landed at Zaventem.

In 1985 the Master Plan for the modernization of the airport was presented.

Uninstalling Mega Airport Brussels Never remove the product manually. Please always use the control panel applet to do so. Failing to do so could create serious problems.

Mega Airport Brussels can be removed at any time if you have one of the following operating systems - Windows 98/ME or NT 4.0/2000 or XP. In order now to fully remove Mega Airport Brussels click on the “Start” Button on the Windows task bar, choose “Programs” and then “Control Panel”. Here you will see an icon named “Add/delete programs”. Double click on this icon to open it and you will see a list of all installed programs. Locate “DreamFactory Studio -Brussels Airport”, click once with the left mouse button and then click on the “add- remove” button. The uninstaller program will now begin to remove the Mega Airport Brussels fi les from you hard disk.

About performanceTo achieve a framerate as high as possible within Microsoft Flight Simulator X, please note the following:

Your maximum visibility should be 10-20 miles (see weather settings). This accelerates the framerate and it is more realistic.

You can even turn down the scenery complexity from “Extremely Dense” to “Dense”, to “Normal” or to “Very sparse” in order to improve the framerates of Flight Simulator a little bit more.

This may result in some scenery elements not appearing on the screen. The reason it has been done is because most PC systems will be able to achieve an optimum speed. We recommend you to use this function. If you upgrade to a faster processor you can change the scenery com-plexity accordingly. If you have a need for better performance set the Autogen to sparse or normal and AI to 3-40%. If you think that this could improve the performance even more.

Important if you want everything to show up on the screen you have to set the scenery slider to extremely dense.

Histoire de l’aéroport de BruxellesDepuis toujours le royaume belge à été très intéressé pour l’aviation. En février 1915 un hangar abritant un Zeppelin dans la région d’Haren fut construit et à partir de ce moment l’aviation civile belge commença à desservir les principales capitales britanniques et françaises.

Dans les années 30, plusieurs compagnies aériennes ont volé à partir de l’aéroport et après la deuxième guerre mondiale, les activités de l’aviation civile furent déménagées d’Haren vers Melsbroek.

En 1956, la construction d’un nouvel aéroport a commencé avec de nouvelles pistes et des hangars adaptés à l’âge des réacteurs. La première Caravelle a atterri le 25 juillet 1956 sur le nouvel aéroport.

Le 2 juillet 1970, le premier Jumbo Jet atterrissait à l’aéroport à Zaventem.

En 1985, le Plan Pilote pour mettre en œuvre la modernisation de l’aéroport fut présenté. En 1994 la nouvelle aérogare fut inaugurée par le Roi Albert II et en mai 2002 le Pier A fut ouvert par le Prince Philippe.

L’aéroport de Bruxelles est l’un des aéroports qui grandit rapidement en termes de trafi c et de développement. Il fut considéré comme le «Meilleur aéroport de l’Europe» par plusieurs organisations.

Désinstallation du Mega Airport Brussels Ne jamais désinstaller l’aéroport manuellement, veuillez utiliser le “Panneau de confi guration” selon la procédure expliquée ci-dessous.

Mega Airport Brussels peut être désinstallé à n’importe quel moment si vous avez un des systèmes d’exploitation suivants : Windows 98/ME or NT 4.0/2000 or XP.

Pour désinstaller complètement Mega Airport Brussels cliquez sur le bouton « Démarrer » dans la barre des tâches de Windows, puis sur «Panneau de confi guration / Ajout et Suppression de programmes». Localisez le logiciel nommé «Dreamfactory Studio-Brussels Airport» et cliquez sur le bouton «Modifi er/Supprimer». Le logiciel de désinstallation supprimera les fi chiers du Mega Airport Brussels de votre disque dur.



Réglages et performancePour obtenir un nombre d’images par seconde plus élevé avec FS2004/FSX, veuillez prendre en compte les conseils suivants:

Veuillez régler la visibilité à 10-20 milles (dans le menu “Options/ Général/Affi chage”) pour augmenter le nombre d’images et pour donner plus de réalisme.

Vous pouvez aussi diminuer la complexité du décor vers normal ou minimal pour accélérer le simulateur. Cependant, quelques éléments ne s’affi cheront pas. Si vous mettez à jour votre processeur, vous pourrez régler à votre convenance les paramètres de densité du décor.

La désactivation/diminution de l’Autogen peut améliorer également la vitesse du simulateur ainsi que la diminution du pourcentage des appareils présents dans le trafi c AI.

Rappelez-vous que pour affi cher tous les objets, il est nécessaire de régler tous les paramètres sur «Extrêmement Dense»

IntroductieBrussel is de hoofdstad van Belgie en het administrative centrum van Europa. Een zeer diverse stad met twee offi cieele talen en net over een millioen inwoners heeft het een modern vliegveld nodig omdat de EEC er zijn hoofdkwartier heft. Brussels airport, dichtbij Zaventem is het belangrijkste vliegveld, het veel kleinere Brussels South Airport, nabij Charleroi, (Wallonia) heeft slechts een locale functie.

Brussels AirportVan oudsher heeft het Belgische koningshuis een grote rol gespeelt in de ontwikkeling van de Belgische luchtvaart en al in 1915 was er een zeppelin hangar op het huidige vliegveld terrain en begon de snelle ontwikkeling van het vliegveld. Halverwege de jaren 30 waren er al een groot aantal luchtvaartmaatschappijen die op Brussel vlogen. Na WO II was er een grote ontwikkeling rond 1956 waarbij nieuwe hangars en banen aangelegd warden en in 1970 deed een 747 het vliegveld voor het eerst aan.

Rond 1985 begon een tweede vernieuwing en in 1994 werd de nieu-we terminal in gebruik genomen. Zoals de meeste modern vliegvelden is er op dit moment een altijd voortgaande vernieuwing en heeft het vliegveld zijn betrekkelijk negatieve image achter zich gelaten. Het is zelfs verkozen tot “The Best Airport in Europe” door een aantal organisaties.

Mega Airport Brussels verwijderen Verwijder dit product NOOIT door de fi les handmatig te deleten.Gebruik altijd de Control Panel applet.

In het control panel zal je een applet vinden dat software kan verwij-deren. Kies daarin Aerosoft Mega Airport en de deinstaller zal alle fi les verwijderen en de confi guratie fi les weer in de originele staat terug brengen.



Framerate (of het gebrek daaraan)In FSX kan het zijn dat het vliegveld traag is. Een aantal tips om dit te verbeteren.

Reduceer de maximum visibility to 10-20 miles. Zeer realistisch omdat het zicht hier vaak zeer matig is.

Reduceer de Scenery Density van “Extremely Dense” naar “Dense” of zelfs lager. Complexe en/of minder belangrijke delen zullen nu niet geladen worden.

AutoGen en AI traffi c hebben een zeer grote invloed op de framerates. Reduceer die settings als eerste.
