This project combines 100+ rental

units, leasable ofce space, and

ground level retail and dining to cre-

ate a thriving urban center. The ori-entation o this mid-rise complex os-

ters pedestrian access and enhances

views o the surrounding city.

The project was developed under review o the

owner o the proposed site in Houston. As part o

a collaborative course between the Rice School o

Architecture and the Rice MBA program, a com-

prehensive business proorma and budget was

created by mysel and my MBA team. Organiza-

tion o rental units and leasing space was based

on market research and current trends. The fnalstage o the design was presented to Linbeck Con-

struction or a realistic construction cost estimate,

and was reviewed by leading Houston developers.
