RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
Syngenta, Huddersfield Manufacturing Plant, Huddersfield Student Engineer (2 years) 2010-2011, 2013-2014
Enrolled on the E.D.T Year in Industry scheme and achieved a placement year with Syngenta and then came back
during University sandwich placement year. Major projects managed were replacing obsolete control system loops
onto PLC systems, gaseous leak detection using ultrasonic probes, led a shutdown routine which involved
pressurizing process lines with nitrogen to locate CFC leaks, designed routine maintenance and spares systems for
various kit, control & mechanical design and installation projects in various areas and plant s ystem surveying.
Dixon CAD Solutions – Cardiff University Enterprise Society 2014 End During gap year placement I established this firm on a part time basis to provide computer aided design services to the UK, outsoucing work to Vietnam. From trading I have gained practical sales experience, worked with clients to provide them with the solutions they require and have managed CAD technicians to produce work. Ceased trading.
