Tyto Athene introduces the ACUITY® Micro Data Center* for communication and engineering teams focused on the rapid deployment of mission-critical information, communication and processing power to tactical edge locations anywhere in the world. The ACUITY solution weighs only 30 pounds and can easily be carried onto any commercial airline.
Before ACUITY, setting up communications and IT in adverse conditions required truckloads of equipment and up to 20 or more personnel. In the event of an emergency caused by natural disaster or act of war, it could take weeks or even months to set up reliable communication. Tactical teams were often forced to use ad-hoc solutions that were not interoperable, leaving even more issues to resolve.
