Actors – Runaway

All actors used in the video are all the same age I did this because it would help create/ follow the cultural norm that young adults go away on a ‘Lad Holiday’ to get away from it all. Also the holiday presented me the chance to use all of the actors in one location which was a benefit.

Gideon Lax (Me) (Age: 19)

Primarily I will be filming from my perspective, to give the video a sense of being there for the audience. However I will also be filming from the 3rd person for shot such as any panning shots or up closes.

Dom Vietan (Age: 19)

I chose Dom due to the fact that he is my age and his style represents the normal aspects of a 19 year old boy which will help me connect and relate to the audience. Although I have never used Dom in a media production before he has done a few projects with other students which gave me an advantage as he already knew what I needed, in terms on positioning and timing.

Robin Watts (Age: 19)

Robin was useful due to the same as the rest he presented a chance to connect with the audience due to his age and style. Robin was also a Drama student for 3 years before and is a great actor. This helped me due to the fact the was able to easily fit into the role without having any problems.

Harvey Platt (Age: 19)

Harvey has never had any acting experiecne however I will be using him for more of an extra as he will add to the idea that this is a big group. He also is quite build and has the classic ‘uni grad’ look about him which will help me to relate to the target audience.
