Final Result/Outcome of the Activity/Program (In Brief):

Foundation Day of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU) was celebrated on

30th March, 2019 with great enthusiasm, fun and frolic. The celebration went a week long from

25th March 2019 to 29th March 2019 indulging sports activities and college days carnival.

Students of whole SSIU community presented a colorful cultural show which was applauded by

everyone. The energy and passion of the students was visible in the performances that they put

up. Every school of SSIU vibrated with enthusiasm. Prizes were distributed to the students for

their outstanding performance in various events.

SSIU Foundation Day Celebration

30th March 2019, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU) celebrated its Foundation

Day. It was a special day when the entire SSIU family had a chance to reflect not on only the

beginnings of the University and its founders, but also on the significant development since the

University’s inception.

It is a day set aside to celebrate our history and revisit and reconnect with the continuing journey

of the university. We celebrate that we are blessed with such beautiful surroundings and

wonderful facilities. Foundation Day was a week’s celebration beginning from 25th March to 30th

March 2019. In this week’s duration, students from each school of SSIU participated in various

college days activities that were specially organized for fun and relish. Besides, University’s

inter collegiate cricket match was also planned to bring thrill and amusement to the overall

celebration. Out of total 10 teams, 2 teams qualified for the final match on 30th March. Girls

cricket was also arranged to demonstrate sporty spirit in girls. Winning teams of boys and girls

group were awarded trophies in different categories.

On the eve of 30th March, the celebrations started with the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries. It

was a great honor and delight to have Rj Devki from Red FM, Ahmedabad who was the chief

guest of the event. The celebrations began at 6.00 PM. The cultural program promises to be a

feast to watch! The students from all schools, across streams came together to perform in this

cultural event. The talented students of SSIU then presented a class act comprised of singing,

dancing, theatre and a fashion show. All the acts were extremely well choreographed and left

everyone in attendance spellbound and wanting for more. DJ party was arranged to add

enthusiasm in the young spirits. Lastly, vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Adi Jain -

President, SSIU who profusely thanked all event coordinators and students

who contributed for the success of the program.
