Gramgeeta Life Development Examination: Today Need
Date: 03/09/2017

One day seminar was organized by BPNISW, Hamunan Nagar, Ngapur in Association with
the Exam Department of Gramgeeta Life Development, Gurukunj Ashram.
Chief Guest: Shri. Nilkanth Halde, Shri. Gulabraoji Khawse, Ad. Krupaji Bhoyar and Shri.

Pandhipande National Institute of Social Work Jointly organized a group Discussion on The
Subject “Life Progress Examination: Today’s Need”. The Programme was chaired by Shri.
Babanraoji Wankhede A Convener
“Gurudeo Sewa Mandal”.
The Programme was
inaugurated by Dr. Pradip Vitalkar-
Retired Principle of Binzani
Collage, Nagpur. In his Speech he
appreciated the work of collage.
Then he gave information about the
work of Gurudeo Sewa Mandal.

Halde evaluates Gramgeeta with the help of the Canto’s in Gramgeeta.
Chief Guest: Shri. Gulabraoji Khawse talked on the importance of life progress Exam in
the process of Making Society Culture.
Chief Guest: Ad. Krupaji Bhoyar explained Co-relation between Philosophy of Tukdoji
Maharaj and Social Work.
Chief Guest: Shri. Radheshyamji Nimje talked on the difficulties faced by Social Worker
while promoting Life Progress Examination. Selected Social Workers were felicited with
Certificate and mementos. The Programme was Concluded with Rashtrawandana-“ Tan-Man-
Dhan Se…” Anchoring: Prof. Dr. Anant Barde & Vote of Thanks: Prof. Dr. Nanda Pangul.

Indian Constitution & Democracy
Date: 04-09-2017

A Workshop was organized on “Indian Constitution & Democracy”
The Programme was commenced with offering the garland to the image of Rashtrasant
Tukdoji Maharaj an Introductory remark was given by Dr. Nanda Pangul. Ashwini Doye a
Student of BSW 1st year talked on the Characteristics of Indian Constitition. Jaini Tado
explained the Indian Constitution. Payal Patil explained ‘Lokshahi’. Anupama Shelke talked on
Strenghts of ‘Lokshahi’. And Tejal Wanjari talked on the Limitation of ‘Lokshahi’. Prof.
Ghode talked on the Constitution of India.

Professional Social Work in India
Date: 05-09-2017
Total Participant -68
A Workshop Was Organized on “Professional Social Work in India”. The Programme
was commenced with lighting the lamp and offering flowers to the image of benevolent
Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj.
Bamleshwari Shinde a Students of BSW 1st year has talked on the background of
Professional Social Work in India. Pranali Choudhari focused the morality on Professional
Social Work. Vivek Shahare talked on the Development of Professional Education in India.
Later Sayli Nimbarte spoke on Professional Social Work. Ankita Nimbartee Provided
Introduction to Historical Background of Professional Social Work.
The Programme was chaired by Nanda Pangul. She explained the need of Professional
Social Work in India. The Progeamme was concluded with National Anthem.

Panchayat Raj System and its Functions
Date: 12-08-2017
Total Participants – 62
A Seminar was organized on “Panchayat Raj System and its Functions”
The Programme was commenced by offering the garland to the image of Rashtrasant Tukdoji
Maharaj. An Introductory remark was given by Dr. Nanda Pangul. A Paper was presented by
Ku. Kalpna Mire on “Historical Background of Panchayat Raj System in India.”. “73rd
Constitutional amendment and its effects” this topic was presented by Kapil Meshram. Kirti
Dadamwar presented a paper on “Introduction of Gramsabha”. Kishor Idpachi presented a
paper on “Rural leadership and present scenario”.
Seminar chaired by Prof. Dr. Sarala Dhabekar she explained the Role of social Worker
in Gramsabha. The Programme was concluded with Rashtrawandana-“Tan-Man-Dhan Se…”

Pre- Marital Counseling
Date:-09-09-2017
Total Participants –68
A One –Day Workshop was organized on “Pre- Marital Counseling” in BPNSW. The
Resource Person for One-Day Workshop was Dr. Shekhar Pande, Senior Counselor at Family
Court, Nagpur.
Sir highlighted on the recent status of families today and the percentages of Divorce
increasing day by day. Sir talked about its causes, role of media, the decreasing values and
respect among youth. He quoted a number of examples wherein due to petty reasons marriage
gets broken, the interference of family members from both sides affecting the marriage .He
compared the old times and that of today the efforts the families made to keep the marriage
going. Sir gave some guidelines to the students, since they are in the marriageable age. The
Workshop ended with a question-answer session followed by vote of thanks by Mrs. Jamkar

NGO’s Role in Rural Development
Date: 23-09-2017

A Seminar was organized on “NGO’s Role in Rural Development”
The Programme was commenced with offering the garland to
the image of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj. An Introductory remark
was given by Dr.V N. Ghode
Swity Nitnaware presented a paper “Rural Development
project Regional experience of Mendha Lekha project and MiHAN
project”. Toshan Rathod presented a paper on “Aamhi Aamachaya
Arogyasathi”. Vaishali Madavi presented a paper on “Sampurna
Bamboo Kendra”.
The Seminar chaired by Prof. Dr. Vilas Ghode. He explained
the NGO’s Role in Rural development and Skills of Social Workers. The Programme was
concluded with Rashtrawandana-“Tan-Man-Dhan Se…” Anchoring: by Ku. Shivani Itankar &
Vote of Thanks: by Mr. J. Bawane.

One-Day Seminar on “Preparation of Project Formulation”
Date: 29-09-17

A One –Day Workshop was organized on Guidelines for Project Proposals .A One-Day
Workshop conducted by Prof Kodape. Sir highlighted the importance of knowing how to
prepare a Project Proposal as after completion of
MSW-II students would be working. Sir
Informed about the topics of importance i.e.-
Requirement of preparing a Project Proposal,
wand who is needed to be incorporated to prepare
a Project Proposal like Title Page, Executive
Summary, Table of contents, objectives,
Technical Approach, Project Management-how
and when, deliverables, budget, communication
and coordination, team qualification etc The students had questions to ask. The workshop
ended with vote of thanks by Dr.Seema Lobo.

“Social Reformers of Maharashtra”
Date: 26th Feb2018
Total Participants- 60
A One-Day Workshop on social reformers of Maharashtra was organized at the
Institute. The resource person was Dr. Hiralal Mesham, Associate Professor .Tirpude College
of Social Work Nagpur.
Sir highlighted on the inspiring work done by our great personalities of the Nation
namely Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Shri, Jyotiba Phule. Savitribai Phule. Dr.Baba Amte, Shri
Bhauao Patil, Sant Gadgebaba etc.
60 students attended the programme. Dr.Rekha Jadnale compered the programme as
well as proposed a vote of thanks.

“Skills Usable in Marathi Language”

Two-Day Workshop on “Skills Usable in Marathi Language” was held on 21st&22
nd
Feb2018 for UG students .The workshop was conducted by Dr.Rekha Jagnale. The purpose of
the workshop was to develop communication skills in Marathi. The focus of the workshop was
on Marathi grammar, letter writing skills, news writing, essay writing etc 65 students attended
the workshop.
