PP2 – National Administration Romanian Waters
Common sampling campaign
• Aim of this activity: harmonization of sampling and analytical procedures used by laboratories from Bulgaria and Romania on the common Danubian stretch, in order to make monitoring data highly comparable
Protocol sampling campaign 1
• Sampling sections:– Pristol-Novo / Selo (km 834)– Chiciu / Silistra (km 375)
• Sampling date:– 8 June 2015
• Investigated matrix: – Water
Protocol sampling campaign 2
• Parameters:– 30
• Sampling procedures:– Cross sections (left, middle, right) sampled– In-situ measurements (w.t., DO, Cond., pH)– Sampling according to the internal Standard Operational
Procedures of the involved laboratories (prepared based on standardised methods and recognised by the accreditation process)
– Sampling operations will be carried out in parallel by both teams – Sampling Reports will be filled in by each team according to their
own specific templates
Laboratories and Analytical methods and performances
• Laboratories:– Analysis carried out by each part– 3 RO accredited laboratories (SR EN ISO/CEI 17025:2005) of
National Administration ”Romanian Waters”
• Analytical methods and performances:– All involved laboratories will use standardised and/or validated
analytical methods– Compliance of the LOQs with the criteria specified in the D 2009/90/EC:
uncertainty of measurement of 50 % or below (k= 2) estimated at the level of relevant environmental quality standards (EQS) and LOQ equal or below a value of 30 % of the relevant environmental quality standards:
LOQ <= 30% EQS (EQS/LOQ >= 3.3)
Reporting
• Excel template for reporting is used (attached is RO proposal)• Analytical results will be shared between parts, in electronic
format• Deadline for data reporting: 26 June 2015
