ACTIVITIES REPORT FOR THE MONTH JANUARY,2021

New year celebration on 01/01/2021 :- Under the leadership of CS Manoj Kumar Yadav, Chairman, Kanpur Chapter celebrated new year 2021 and exchanged greetings with each other.

Plantation at Chapter’s premises ( 01/01/2021) :-

Kapur Chapter of Northern India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India celebrated Plantation day on Friday, 1st January,2021 at Chapter’s premises Kaushalpuri, Kanpur.

CS Manoj Kumar Yadav, Chairman of the Managing Committee CS Maneesh Kumar Shukla, Vice-chairman, CS Gopesh Sahu, Executive Member and Staff Members Mr. Kunwar Lal kushwaha, In-charge, Mrs. Uma Gupta, Mr. Santosh Srivastava, Ram Lakhan were present.

Career Awareness Programme :- on 05/01/2021, Kanpur Chapter has organized a Career

Awareness programme at Laxmi Narayan Inter college, Pihani, Kanpur Nagar. CS Arvind Kumar

Katiyar, Secretary of Kanpur Chapter explained the recognition as well as role, employment

opportunities, avenues in practice of Company Secretary. Mr. Kunwar Lal Kushwaha, In-charge,

explained, admission process, fee structure etc.

Awareness programme at Nehru Inter College, Araul, Kanpur Nagar. CS Arvind Kumar Katiyar,

Secretary of Kanpur Chapter explained the recognition as well as role, employment opportunities,

avenues in practice of Company Secretary. Mr. Kunwar Lal Kushwaha, In-charge, explained,

admission process, fee structure amongst the students and invited for registration for the CS Course.

Awareness programme at Vidya Bharti Inter College, Araul, Kanpur Nagar. CS Arvind Kumar

Katiyar, Secretary of Kanpur Chapter explained the recognition as well as role, employment

opportunities, avenues in practice of Company Secretary. Mr. Kunwar Lal Kushwaha, In-charge,

explained, admission process, fee structure etc. Pamphlets’ were distributed amongst the students

and invited for registration for the CS Course and oral coaching facilities provided by the Chapter.

Half day Seminar ( 16/01/2021)

A seminar was organised by Kanpur Chapter of NIRC of The Institute of Company Secretaries of

India on “Role of Company Secretaries under banking and NBFCs ” for the benefit of the

Members on Saturday, 16th

January, 2021 at 3:30AM at U P Stock Exchange, Auditorium, Civil

Lines, Kanpur. The Programme was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Shri Ashok Kumar

Goel, AGM-PNB, as Chief Guest, CS Rakesh Srivastava, Guest of Honour, CS Vinod Mehrotra,

Managing Director, Balaji Mariship Pvt. Ltd., Special Guest and CS Shikhar Goel, Key note

speaker.

(i) Shahed ki Beti certificates were given to Shri Ashok Kumar Goel, AGM-PNB, by CS Saket

Sharma and CS Rakesh Srivastava, Guest of Honour by CS Mohit Nigam.

Foundation Result celebration on 18/01/2021 :-

Result of CS Foundation Programme was declared on 18th Jan.,2021 at 11:00AM and

Kanpur Chapter invited to the successful students of Kanpur and warded through medel

by the Managing Committee of Kanpur Chapter with the golden hands of Mrs. Shashi Kala

Nair, Income Tax officer (Corporate) Kanpur, Chief Guest and Shri Jairam Singh Jai,

(POET), Guest of honour of the day .

Renovation of Toilets and its opening ceremony 18/01/2021:- Kanpur Chapter renovated its toilets and handed over a ladies toilet specially for females

only. Opening ceremony was completed under the golden hand of Mrs. Shashi Kala Nair,

Income Tax officer (Corporate) Kanpur, Chief Guest.

This occasion was graced by the Guest of honour of the day Shri Jairam Singh Jai,

(POET) along-with ICSI Managing team of Kanpur Chapter.

FLAG HOSTING CEREMONY, SPEECH & SINGING COMPETITION OF THE STUDENTS (ON 26TH

JANUARY, 2021) :-

Flag Hosting Ceremony was organized by Kanpur Chapter of NIRC of ICSI on the occasion of the

72nd

Republic Day" on Tuesday, 26Th

January, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Chapter’s Premises, at

118/90, Gumti Plaza, Kaushalpuri, Kanpur-208012.

The Program was graced by the Chief Guest - Adv. Yatindra Shukla, Prof DAV Law College &

CS Gautam Kumar Banthia, as Guest of Honour, Shri Jai Ram Jai (Poet), as Special Guest and CS

Diwaker Dubey as Special Invitee (Retd. Air Force Personnel) Kanpur.

The Flag hoisting was followed by National Anthem, Jan Gan man…. and Speech Competition

among the students present. There were 15 students were participated in the quiz, Singing &

Speech competition.

Mr. Vishvendra Singh Yadav and Ms. Akaash Sharma adjudged as best speech presentation and

best singing participants.

On this occasion CS Maneesh Kumar Shukla, Chairman, CS Arvind Kumar Katiyar, Vice

chairman, CS Vaibhav Agnihotri, Secretary and CS Sneha Bajpai, Treasurer, CS Manoj Kumar Y
