Additional Photographic Section Rules:• For colour or black and white prints, taken digitally or with a traditional film camera• Prints must be no larger than 8” x 6” or A5. They may be presented in card mounts, but the

mounts will not be judged. No framed prints will be accepted.• Please write the class number, exhibitor’s name, pitch number, Centre (if applicable) and in the case

of the Youth classes, the age of the entrant on the back of the prints.• The Secrett Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the overall winner and the Denys Branch Shield to

Class 11 White, DryClass 12 White, SweetClass 13 Red, DryClass 14 Red, SweetClass 15 Desert Wine, ‘After Dinner’Class 16 Gin based Fruit LiqueurClass 17 Bitter, Beer

Additional Wine Section Rules:• All wines must have been made by the exhibitor and by the process of fermentation. Fortification is

not allowed by any method. (This rule does not apply to class 16.)• Bottles: Wine should be exhibited in clear glass wine bottles Bordeaux type of approx. 70/75cl

capacity. For the liqueur class clear colourless half size wine bottles must be used. Beer should be entered in 1 pint plain beer bottles (clear or brown coloured) and sealed with a screw stopper or crown cap.

• Levels : Wine bottles should be filled so that the distance between the bottom of the cork and the surface of the wine is between 5mm (¼ inch) and 25mm (1 inch). For liqueurs fill distances and cork types apply as per wine. Beer bottles should be filled so that the distance from the underside of the stopper/cap is between 12.5mm (½ inch) and 25mm(1 inch).

• Corks: only plain flanged corks with white plastic or natural cork tops shall be used.• Entry forms can be obtained from [email protected] and should be returned by10 May

2016. Entries will also be accepted on the day, but providing this information in advance will greatly assist the organisers in their preparation.

Class 21 All in One Sponge Cake - for 18 years and over Ingredients: 125g/4ozs Self Raising Flour 125g/4ozs Softened Butter 125g/4ozs Caster Sugar 2 eggs 2 cake tins 18cm/7inches in size Mix all ingredients together with a wooden spoon in a large bowl. Divide equally and bake in the oven Mark 3 for approx 20 minutes. Decorate to your choice in the theme of The Queen’s 90th Birthday.

Class 22 White Bread Rolls - for 18 years and over Pick your own favourite Bread Recipe and make white bread rolls. Place 4 rolls on a plate as your competition entry.

Class 23 Your Own Recipe Jam / Preserve / Marmalade – for 18 years and over Present your entry in a screw top jar clearly labelled with the ingredients.

Class 24 Plain Scones - up to and including 13 years

Class 25 Plain Scones - 14 to 17 years inclusive Ingredients, for classes 24 and 25: 25g/1oz Caster Sugar 50g/2ozs Butter 225g/8ozs Self Raising Flour 120ml/4fl oz Milk Makes 8 Scones Rub the butter and flour together to make breadcrumbs. Add the sugar. Pour in the milk, stir with a knife and make into a ball. On a floured board flatten the ball to about 3cm/1inch thick (this should now look like a small side plate). Place your dough on a lightly greased baking tray and cut through the mixture to resemble 8 wedges. Bake in a preheated oven Mark 7 for approx 25 minutes or until golden. Place 4 wedges of cooked scone on a plate as your competition entry.

• Exhibitors are asked to register their intention to enter either by e mail to [email protected] or telephone 07988 368045. Entries will also be accepted on the day of the competition.

• Exhibitors in all classes must adhere to the recipes where provided. Entries for classes 21, 22, 24 and 25 must have been baked in your outfit at this event.

• A numbered label – supplied by the Organisers – will be fixed to exhibits before judging.• Presentation will be taken into account during the judging.

Class 41 The Queen’s New Crown; for children 7 years and under, please request a crown template to print and decorate from [email protected].

Class 42 A model Birthday Cake for The Queen made from household items and junk; for children aged 8 to 11: maximum size 12” x 12” x 12”.

Class 43 Invitation to a Street Party to celebrate The Queen’s 90th Birthday design and produce a computer generated invitation, for ages 12 to 18.

Class 44 A 90th Birthday Street Party A table setting (not including food) to be arranged for effect in a space 30” wide x 24” deep x 30” high. (See notes below.)

Class 45 Picnic in the Royal Park A picnic for two, to be judged on content and presentation, to be arranged in a space 22” wide x 24”deep. (See notes below.)

Additional notes for classes 44 and 45:

• Classes 44 and 45 may be entered by an individual or any group of members, and are to be staged between 9:30 and 10:30am on the day of the competition.

• Advance notification of entries is required (for classes 44 and 45 only) by Thursday 26 May 2016 and may be sent to [email protected] or 07837 399703.

• Entries in classes 44 and 45 will earn additional points for the Presidents’ Cup, if entered by a group of centre members; maximum of one entry per centre.
