ACTIVITIES : Procedure 1. Hot Spot begins with the group standing in a circle.

2. Teacher begin a story:

For example: once upon a time, in a faraway land…

2. A suggestion may be given, but it is not necessary. One person will step into the center of the circle and tell a story based on the sentences given by the teacher.

3. After a few brief lines of story someone must tap out the player in the center and take their place. That player then continue with their own interpretation of the story.

4. The step are repeated, as player after player tap into the center of the circle to tell

the story.

5. Players in the surrounding circle may support by making sound effect, clapping hands, etc.

ACTIVITIES

“HOT SPOT”

- Student surround by other student in the center and begins to tell a story. Someone from the circle usually taps in before the story is over.

- This will help the student to act quickly and be creative with their idea in telling the story

Story in a box

1. each child writes a sentences on a slip of paper or card and drops into the box.

2. take a slip of paper from the tin. Read out the sentence and then begin a story, making use of all or part of the sentence

3. the children each take a sentence from the tin. They take it in turns to continue the story. As soon as they think their sentence can follow the previous one they put their hangs to go next. If you wish, they can stand in line holding their sentences
