Many students simplymemorize facts withoutunderstanding the underlying concepts and principles.THIS IS NOT LEARNING.

We will be using a learning strategy that helps you trulyunderstand the material and develop useful skills for yourcareer.

1. Watch pre-lecture video in order to take in needed facts,vocabulary, equations, etc., on the topic.

2. Take pre-lecture quiz to test your comprehension.

3. During class time, participate in active and social learningactivities to ensure that you understand the material andto practice skills you will need in your career.

4. At the end of class, write a “topic brief” to consolidateyour learning of the topic.
