Activation Process: Postpay
Step 1: Connect Device with Laptop and Install 1. Connect the Photon Max Wi Fi data card with PCConnect the Photon Max Wi Fi data card with your PC via USB port 2. Install the DriverIf PC opens the “Auto Run” function, it will pop up an installation interface. If not, please go to the CD as shown in the figure below and open it and double click the “AutoRun.exe” file or right click and click on Auto play.

Step 2: Select Postpay and Click Activate Pls Note: No need to Put the PIN for Postpaid
3. Auto installation is complete the following screen appears. Please select the Postpaid option.There is no need to enter any PIN, please keep PIN field blank & please click on the “Activate” button
4. On clicking the “Activate” button, the following screen appears. The moving bars indicate that the activation is in progress.
Select Postpay and Click Activate
Step 3: Put “admin” in username and password5. You may have to wait for a couple of minutes. Once activation is successful, you will see the following screen.
7. In case the activation fails, the following sequence of steps needs to be followedIn case activation is unsuccessful, you will see the following prompt
6. After this, please wait for a moment, as the device will open Web GUI in new window and do auto connect, once the connection is made, you can start to use the device. Please login into the Web management program. The default user name and password both are admin as also explained in the Getting Started section.
Both user name and password is “admin”
(you may change the same later)
The reboot process may take around 180
seconds.
Incase the activation failure message comes, ensure you have admin rights, pls re-click on activate.
8. Please click on the “OK” button. The following screen will appear. Please click on the “Activate” button as shown in the below figure. Please repeat the same sequence as stated from point no 3 above.

6. Plug Out device & Plugin the MAX Wi-Fi Dongle to System & Device is connected. Plug Out device & Plugin the MAX Wi-Fi Dongle to System & Device is connected. Please login into the Web management program. The default user name and password both are admin as also explained in the Getting Started section.
Step 3: In case Activation is success then click OK auto connect will happen
8. Please click on the “OK” button. The following screen will appear. Please click on the “Activate” button as shown in the below figure. Please repeat the same sequence as stated from point no 3 above.
7. In case the activation fails, then please login with User ID : admin Password : admin. Go to setting >> Dial-up>>Profile. Profile should get updated automatically. Incase not Pls perform Quick Setup & perform the activation process

WPA Pre Shared Key is 12345678, this Key can be changed1. Go to http://192.168.1.1/html/home.html & Login with User ID : admin & Password : admin
2. Go to Settings >> WLAN >> WLAN Basic Setting 3. WPA Pre Shared Key is the Wi-Fi Password
4. Click Show Password; & change to say sample “87654321”. System will prompt Success & Wi-Fi Key is changed.
