Goals
• Long term goals (3-5 years)– Empowering provincial/regional Science Competition to
have good projects at national level– More schools in the 3 regions of Indonesia (West, East and
Central) to participate at Regional Science competitions leading to a National Science Fair.
– In coordination with MoE and MoRT make inquiry-based learning an important part of school curriculum
– Winning the award in Intel ISEF
• Short term goals (1-2 years)– The National Science Fair be affiliated to Intel ISEF – Winners of the National Science Fair take part in Intel ISEF– Organize Student Science Camp to promote Intel ISEF
among schools– Organize teacher training workshop on inquiry-based
learning

• Performance indicators– Cooperation between Indonesian Institute of
Science (LIPI) and Intel Indonesia formalized by signing an MoU
– Intel ISEF rules fully implemented at regional and national science competitions
– The National Science Fair be affiliated to Intel ISEF– Teacher Training Workshop and Student Science
Camp organized to promote the Intel ISEF – More science fairs established at regional or
provincial levels
