This correctional center was planned to meet the needs of inmates who require
maximum security and who have not responded to treatment programs in other
institutions. There will be a continual striving for individualization of programs.
As far as pOSSible, individual programs will depend on the inmate's behavior so that
each can know what behavior must be ~proved. The program of reintegration into the
community will begin with transfers to other correctional faCilities, and it is from
there the inmate usually will be released into society.
