Welcome to the Beta ProgramWelcome to the first public Beta of the Acronis True Image 2021!

This Reviewer’s Guide will help you learn more about the new features and provide some useful tips on trying them out. We

would greatly appreciate if you tried all the features and shared your opinion with us.

Beta Program details• Protection of up to 3 computers with 1 TB of Acronis Cloud storage total (valid until the final product release)

• Offered in English only

• Does not affect your current subscription or perpetual license, but installing the Beta will rewrite any version of Acronis

• Acronis True Image 2021 in macOS Dark Mode helps reduce eye strain for those using Dark Mode as a default macOS appearance.

• New backup format (.tibx) backups received the ability to be mounted, moved, renamed, and converted to the .vhd format.

• Replication can now be easily resumed which helps increase replication stability while working on unstable Internet connections.

• Quick validation ensures that the latest backup version can be safely recovered and does not take much time doing it.

Anti-malware Protection – How to Try

Below are several things that you could try to test the new Anti-malware Protection. The provided antivirus test file will not harm your computer.

How to try• Go through Settings and try changing them• Launch an antivirus scan• Download the test virus file here and launch it to

see how it is moved to quarantine• Check whether your protection is up to date

Web Restore Redesign

The Anywhere Access to Cloud data has become faster, more secure and convenient.

How to try• Create a backup to Acronis Cloud and click

Browse my data in the Account tab to browse it in Web Restore

• Navigate through your data and check the detailed information on files and folders

• Share a password protected file

Dark Mode for Mac

We added support for macOS Dark Mode to ease the lives of all those using Dark Mode as their default appearance.

How to try• In macOS, open System Preferences• Navigate to General and select Dark appearance• Open Acronis True Image 2021

Improvements in the New Backup Format

Added the following highly requested features for the new backup format (.tibx) backups

Resumable Replication

Resumable image backup replication assures that if replication was interrupted, the next replication process will not start from scratch, thus avoiding the duplication of data.

How to try• Create a backup in Acronis True Image 2021• Start to replicate it to Acronis Cloud• Close to the end of the process, cancel the

replication• Launch the replication again

Quick validation verifies the recoverability of the latest backup version and helps to speed up the regular validation process. Quick validation can be launched manually or scheduled.

How to try• Create several disk backups in Acronis True Image
