Operation The New ACP Series 2.0 devices install on a standard analog or DSL phone line. Inbound calls are answered and immediately screened for fax tone and/or DTMF Security Access Codes. (Each port has a unique programmable code). During this brief processing period, a bell spec “ring back” is issued out to the calling party. Once the Security Access Code is received, the call is routed to the corresponding port. In the absence of fax/SAC codes, the call is defaulted to the voice port for use with stand alone or phone system. Outbound calls are processed in the normal fashion with barge‐in protection with multiple EBI
