Backflow valve with access chamber

The ACO TRIPLEX® access backflowvalve is an in-line Type 2 passive anti-flooding device conforming to BS EN 13564 suitable for grey waterconnections (non faecal wastewater)installed with its own access chamber.

Versatile design

The ACO TRIPLEX®, which installs intosolid floor construction and connects to110mm and 160mm Ø drain pipe,features a height adjustable accesschamber with optional DPM bondingflange. Access is gained through areversible cover designed for tiled orcementitious floor finishes which rotatesfor ease of alignment with floor tilingand is fully sealed.

Reliable function

Under normal conditions the backflowflaps simply open by the force of wastewater flowing to the sewer. Whenbackflow occurs, reversing the directionof flow, water reaches the primary flapand forces it shut.

The secondary flap provides additionalsafety to ensure that backflow isprevented if the first flap should fail toclose properly due to presence of dirt.

The top lever incorporated into theprimary flap provides the option tomanually shut off the pipe duringmaintenance or for long periods of non-use.
