Panduit and Cisco* collaborate to provide a unified data center solution that delivers: Simplified, intelligent data center planning through converged systems and best practices Operational efficiency through upfront design consideration of power, cooling, space, and industry standards requirements Business agility through flexible and scalable data center and network architectures Contact Us: www.panduit.com/ciscoacicontact Learn More: www.panduit.com/ciscoaci Optimized Solutions for Cisco Nexus* 9000 Series Switches and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI*) *Cisco and Cisco Nexus are registered trademarks and Cisco ACI is a trademark of Cisco Systems, Inc. and/or its affiliates in the United States and certain other countries. Cable Pass-Through Cable Pass-Through Benefits Time to Deploy Designed and tested to minimize deployment time; predictable, repeatable and scalable system Capital Cost Highest density deployment minimizes the amount of data center space required; known thermal and power footprint reduces need for oversubscription of facility resources; minimized set-up and debugging costs. Energy Costs Thermal efficiency of cabinet, ducting and cable management solution minimizes the amount of cool air required to maintain acceptable operating conditions of equipment. Reliability All links tested and documentation provided verifying proper connection, speed, and bandwidth Advanced Analytic Capability An open API provides real-time physical infrastructure data (connectivity, power, thermal, and asset location) enables optimized workload allocation based on physical location and data in addition to logical data. Operational Costs Lower energy costs, efficient density; minimized maintenance lowers the operational cost per IT unit; real-time reporting of operating conditions enable facility resources to be optimized based on actual physical infrastructure resources consumed. Cable Pass-Through

Cable Pass-Through

ACI – Double SpineGoal of this solution is to accommodate the minimum ACI Spine configuration of two Cisco Nexus 9508 Chassis’s. (Cisco imposed solution minimum for HA using chassis’s)

Parts needed to create a finished good preconfigured solution are: 42RU 800mm x 1200 S-Type Cabinet, 2 POU brackets, 2 side

panels, 2 vertical air dams, vertical fingers 2 Fiber Port angled replication panels (new part) – These

panels provide a 1:1 Leaf switch uplink (up to 588 patches) between 9508 line card and Leaf switches in other cabinets. Port personality in the form of inserted jacks are included in the appropriate cable bundle type and not in the base solution (LC or MPO jacks). Two angled panel covers on top/bottom of replication panels keep cold aisle containment, as well as dust caps supplied to fill the holes in the panel

2 – 2RU cool boot pass-thru’s to allow the front facing power supplies to be cabled to the rear POU’s

Grounding to include 2 whips from 9508's and connection to CBN

Strain relief bars on rear to accommodate slack of almost 600 inbound fibers

Cable management on back side of front rail to dress up to 588 patch’s between 9508 and replication panels

24 port 1RU Quicknet patch panel to account for 4 Nexus Supervisor connections to be uplinked, using Cat5e Cable/Mini-Coms

Cool boot inserts for both air dams and top of cabinet for patch management and inbound connections

Various accessories to further ensure cold aisle containment

Since patch cables are not included in the base configuration, there will be 2 offerings. Each offering is enough to fill half a line card per 9508: 36 LC patch cables to connect 9508 to associated fiber

replication panel, 36 LC adapters to populate panel 36 MPO patch cables to connect 9508 to associated fiber

replication panel, 36 MPO adapters to populate panel

*Active gear from Cisco is not included in the preconfigured solution**Patch Cables between 9508 and Fiber Replication Panels are not included in base solution. Horizontal links are also not included*
