Our servicesChoose the service area you need. The services are then categorised as Essentials or Choices services.
Items in the Essentials range are available across the county to any school purchasing from Edukent.
Items in the Choices range are, at present, deliverable only by a limited number of Educational Psychologists specialising in the given field.
Having a three day Service Level Agreement has meant instant service tailored to our needs, I have been very impressed so far.
Julie Silk, Harrietsham Primary School
Very useful support from the Educational Psychologist in helping us understand the child’s needs and why behaviours are shown. These discussions led to better outcomes.
We have found having a Service Level Agreement hugely beneficial in helping us meet the needs of the children in our school. We often find that children’s emotional needs are unpredictable and can suddenly escalate given changing circumstances.
The Service Level Agreement allows us to access our Educational Psychologist when needs arise, this greater flexibility allows and help to come to solutions more quickly and effectively.
Discussions have also been hugely beneficial in helping develop staff in their understanding of the emotional needs of our children.
Helen Seeley, Priory Fields School
Our school has chosen a Service Level Agreement with the Psychology Service this year. It also gives opportunity for one Educational Psychologist to get to know our school well over time and so work collaboratively with us in a planned, well thought out way - all of which is better for the children.

Processes to support organisational change and development
In view of the complexity of needs presented by children in mainstream schools and the fact that the support for these children is provided by ALL school staff this approach is aimed at groups of around 6 to 8 people with differing roles in school. The emphasis is on solution talk rather than problem talk and focuses on empowering the ‘problem presenter’ rather than solving their problem for them. It is an effective vehicle for change
