COURSE INFORMATION
This course is a continuation of the study of materials and construction methods usedin the erection of commercial buildings. Emphasis is on the evaluation and research of commonly used structural systems / architectural cladding systems and detailing of commercial construction.
Learning Objectives:
a. Identify various structural systems available for commercial construction.b. Identify various cladding systems available for commercial construction.c.. Analyze and develop architectural construction details.d. Identify zoning, building and fire code impact on building design and material selection.
