This is your course page. The next time you log

in you will be taken directly here. Now let’s enroll in a course.

Across the top of this page you will see ‘Available Courses’ – click on that tab.

a red box. Click on the box to open a navigation window.

After you open the navigation window, click on

‘Available Courses’.

After clicking on ‘Available Courses’, you will arrive here – click on the course title or ‘Read

More’.

Next you will need to scroll down to find the green take this course button

After you click on ‘Take this course’, the Course Content will appear. Click on the first module to begin the course.

After clicking on the first module, you will be taken to the module page. Read the information and instructions on this page.

At the bottom, you will find a start button that will launch the presentation for this module. The presentation may take a minute or two to load.

After the presentation and quiz, you can exit by clicking on ‘X’ in the top right corner and you will return to the course page.

The course page will take a few seconds to refresh and then it will display your quiz results and a

new link that will take you to the next module.

Or you can scroll up and navigate to the next module using the menu on the right. Modules must

be completed in order. Therefore, you cannot move from module 1 to module 3 for example.

How do you navigate in a module presentation?

Across the top of the screen is a series of tabs that allow you to control audio and navigate

through the presentation. The main menu buttons:

• Exit – allows you to leave the module • Menu – opens a window that will show you the module units. It will let you move back to areas you have already seen but it will not let

you move forward. • Audio – turns the sound off or on • Resources – this is available when there is a support file / document available for downloading. • Transcript – this opens a window that shows the transcript of the narration. • Replay – starts the slide again • The arrows - allow you to move one slide forward or backwards. When answering a question, only the back arrow is

available.

Each slide has a control panel in the bottom left corner.

And mute the audio

At the end of a module you will see this screen:

• Continue – takes you to the module end screen. If there is a quiz/test, complete it before choosing ‘continue’.

• View Content Again – starts the module again. • Take Test – this will take you to the module quiz.

At the end of a test you will see this screen:

• Continue – takes you to the module end screen. • View Content Again – starts the module again • Review Test – this allows you to look at the test questions and your answers more carefully.

Here you can see your quiz score and can exit the module presentation. To exit the module, it is best to close the window by clicking on the ‘X’ in the top right corner.

This will return you to the module screen where you can move to the next module.
