    We are a consultancy with a difference. An organisation which is always asking how we

    could do something better, or maybe why do it at all, with the confidence to think big

    on

    behalf of others and find ways to achieve ambitious goals.

    Context and purpose of this role

    The Social Kinetic has grown in the last three years and, at the same time, we are becoming

    more ambitious too. What we do is different and if you want to understand what makes us tick,

    read our website and our brochure. It will tell you how we think, what we do and our values too.

    We currently have two new significant projects which need great Project Managers. Someone

    who ideally has a communications background but who thrives managing ambitious and large

    scale projects either in:

    1. Engagement, research and service design or

    2. Engagement and communications across the health sector and the public too.Someone who understands the need for detail with an understanding of the sector and the

    audiences as a bonus too.

    We are either looking for one person full time to work on both projects for 6-12 months or two

    part time people. The key is finding the right person. There may well be long-term opportunities

    too.

    These are great projects and provide a great opportunity to get as involved as you would like

    and play a key role in the team. Each project has a dedicated team and this would be a pivotal

    role alongside the Project Directors.

    Job description

    We help organisations re-imagine how they connect in todays world with communications that

    are joined-up, clever and creative with social purpose built in. See our website to find out much

    We are principally looking for someone (or two people) who is/are bright, articulate, confident

    and super organised and who has/have the right skills and is/are keen to work in a small, expert,

    award-winning and growing organisation which works at a senior level on some of the most

    interesting projects in the sector.

    Support for the role Note that you would have the support of an account executive in the

    role and we would be keen for you to help them develop and grow their skills too.

    The role will typically involve some or all of the following)

    General support:

    Supporting the planning and management of the projects including research,

    engagement, film, the production of print and design, the teams on the ground, partners

    and resources

    Dealing with enquiries from clients and stakeholder organisations

    Supporting the Project Director preparing for meetings, producing drafts, updates and

    reports for the client

    Organising events (some of which might be research and creative events) and meetings

    Ensuring that the internal communications with our key clients is as good as it can be ensuring all the right people are engaged, updated, invited to meetings and sent key

    content.

    Publishing and promoting documents

    Working with the Project Director to co-ordinate the editing and feedback on key

    documents, coordinating the production of toolkits - PowerPoints, press releases, FAQs,

    social media plan and release plan

    Working with the team to produce high quality documents and presentations

    Liaising with suppliers and designers.

    Insight and supporting the Insight lead

    Supporting the insight and research team

    Setting up interviews with stakeholders

    Producing reports

    Film

    Co-ordination of film production teams

    Communications delivery

    National, regional and trade media

    Supporting media partnerships Social media planning and delivery

    The role and terms of appointment

    The role is available immediately on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months (with a view to

    extending or the role becoming permanent). Ultimately, we are looking for people whowill become a permanent part of the core Social Kinetic team.

    The contract value will be in the range: 30k-60k pa pro rata (depending on skills and

    experience). The higher salary would be for someone who has the right level of communications

    or engagement expertise too. There is potential for negotiation.

    The role is to start immediately and is either full-time or part time the key is finding the right

    people for the projects.

    Person Specification

    Key skills:

    Great all round communication skills with the confidence to communicate across a range of

    audiences

    Confident in client meetings and presentation

    Good understanding of social media planning and delivery

    Good IT skills - Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint

    Confident working remotely and using technology to make life easy e.g. basecamp, drop

    box etc.

    Account management and co-ordination skills

    Highly organised. Able to plan, balance and cope with the pressure of competing priorities

    Good attention to detail

    Comfortable presenting ideas (ideal, not key)

    Personal attributes:

    Confident, positive, keen to take initiative and enjoys a challenge

    A creative mind which enjoys joining the dots

    High level of drive, energy and commitment A commitment to The Social Kinetics values

    A team player - collaborative, flexible and supportive

    An interest in current affairs and corporate social responsibility (ideal, not key)

    An interest in issues such as health, the arts and social justice (ideal, not key).

    space. Note this is easy to get to from Victoria or London Bridge.

    Dont expect to work across 6 accounts or more. We dont do that. We will only work on

    a

    small number of projects at one time and the aim is quality.
