IntroductionA series of lesson-length videos is available from the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning &Innovation. These videos can be used in teacher preparation classrooms across the state. Some arefull length Math and ELA lessons, identifying standards-aligned shifts. Others are shorter clipshighlighting the implementation of academic standards, including Professional LearningCommunities and Teacher Evaluation.This document will show you how to access the video library and how to create your FREE useraccount so you can view each video.IMPORTANT: To ensure the best experience when using the INVEST Video Library, please use astandards-compliant Web browser. We recommend using either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.(Do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer.)

Select the link to the Video LibraryScroll to the bottom of the Ayers Institute home page. Click on the hyperlink for the INVEST videolibrary.

Select a video you would like to viewThe INVEST Project's "Common Core Video Library" is displayed. By default all videos are shownon pages that contain 12 videos at a time. You can use the subjects filters (1) or the categoriesfilters (2) to narrow the list of videos to match your particular interest.Select a video and click on its title or thumbnail image.

Login or create a FREE user accountIf you already have a user account for the Video Library, skip ahead in this document to the stepentitled "Login to the Video Library."You must create and use a FREE user account before you can access the INVEST videos. (Thisallows the Ayers Institute to measure the usage of these videos and report on the success of theINVEST project.)Click on the "Sign up for a free membership" link. Then fill-out the 1-page "User Registration"form and click the Save button.
Registration successUpon submission of the user registration form, you will receive an onscreen "completion" message.Click the "Resources" link in the left-hand navigation menu.

Select the link to the Video LibraryClick on the hyperlink for the INVEST video library.
Select a video you would like to viewSelect the video you would like to view and click on its title or thumbnail image.

Login to the Video LibraryEnter the Username and Password that you created earlier. Then, click the "Sign In" button.

View the INVEST Video that you selectedThe video you selected will be displayed along with options for chapter navigation, related videoclips, supporting materials, and a Facilitator's Guide for the video.
