    In addition to the extensive suite of standard reports, such as turnover,headcount, absence, training and

    recruitment analysis, we provide theability to create dashboards andmake them available to relevantusers. Dashboards can include charts,gauges, listings and slideshows, aswell as information from externalsources on the web (e.g. RSS feeds).

    All charts and gauges utilise the verylatest Microsoft Silverlight TMtechnology, which brings unrivalleddepth and clarity when reviewinggraphical reports.

    Ad-hoc reportsIntegration with Crystal reports alsoprovides you with a user-friendlyreport writer, enabling you to createad-hoc reports on any area of thesystem as you need them. This ensuresfurther flexibility in case you needinformation that is not available inone of the many standard reports.

    System configurabilitySelectHR is fully configurable,allowing you to choose howinformation is presented to specificgroups of users and whichinformation they have access to.You can control the content of menus,screens etc, using the tools available inthe Administrator module.

    Even the Administrator itself can beconfigured for individual users. Forexample, HR users may be able toproduce graphs and reports andpublish these for other staff to use,while system administrators mayalso be allowed to create and modifyworkflows or menus.

    Many highly configurable systems are just tool kits with which clients haveto effectively build their own system.However, we include a huge array of standard functionality which means you can be up and running veryquickly, yet still have the ability toexpand the system as your needschange and evolve.

    Paytypes & deductionsSelectPay provides a comprehensiveselection of the most commonly usedpaytypes and frequencies as standard.You can create and amend these asrequired, making it easy to handlechanges to staffing levels and varyingpay dates. You can also group specificrecords and ensure payment is made

    on selected dates useful when youhave a particularly large payroll orwhen you have many subsidiaries todeal with.

    Multiple payments and allowances,such as bonuses, can be easilyaccounted for, and expressed as aweekly or monthly value. Salaryincreases and deductions arecalculated automatically and youcan preview the effect any calculationhas on net pay at any time.

    Non-payable paytypes, such as holiday,can be linked to any deductions, quicklyshowing you the outstanding value of deductions against time accrued.

    DeductionsMultiple deductions, such as seasonticket loans, can be activated forspecific periods, shut down when thebalance is paid and easily reactivated.

    Statutory requirementsAs youd expect, SelectPay covers all your statutory requirements and tomake your job more straightforward,calculations, such as Directors Pay,National Insurance (NI) and StudentLoans, are handled automatically.

    Pensions

    Pensions can be entered as a fixedsum or as a percentage of salary, andAdditional Voluntary Contributionsmade at any time. COMP and COSRpensions can also be specified andPAYE, NIC and SSP tables areformatted in line with HMRCconventions.

    A monthly report shows all paymentsdue for PAYE and NI, so you never fallbehind on your commitments.

    P11D processingCompany cars and loans are dealtwith automatically while all othercalculations and reports are easy tomanage. P 11D submissions can bemade using traditional printed reportsor online filing.

    Through this integration, new

    employees will join as a starter in thepayroll, with any subsequent changesto personal information or leavers alsofed through. All this information issubject to a validation process toensure tight control over your data.

    An interface to the Self-service modulewithin SelectHR enables staff tochange their personal data online. Forexample, if an employee has movedhouse or needs to update their bankdetails, they can easily do this fromwithin the web portal. This informationis then passed securely into SelectPayfor you to approve, before updating thesystem automatically.

    In addition, P60 s and payslips thathave been produced by SelectPay canbe accessed from within Self-service.This both empowers employees bygiving them ownership of their payinformation and reduces payrolladministration.

    TimesheetsTimesheets entered into SelectHRsSelf-service module can also be passedto SelectPay via an authorisationprocess. For total control over yourpayroll, you have the option to rejecttimesheets at any stage.

    Receiving timesheets from Access

    DimensionsSimilarly, integration with our ProjectCosting module means thattimesheet information can bereceived into payroll without the needfor duplicate entry. On running thepayroll, SelectPay can post thecompany NI back to both the nominal journal and relevant project(s), giving your decision-makers an accuratepicture of staff costs.

    Integration with other data sourcesIf you generate timesheets onspecialist applications (for example,time and attendance systems) or viaspreadsheets, then we can easilyimport this information into SelectPay.Using our powerful brokering tools, your specific rates, time and pay valuesare gathered, formatted and thenseamlessly transferred into the payrollfor accurate and timely processing.

    All in sync:having received and authorised the new starter details from SelectHR, SelectPay isupdated automatically. This process reduces duplication and saves time across your
