Select the active performance link in your To Do list

Learn: Performance Forms

Form templates are built for your organization and define how your organization wants to document, track, and measure your performance and that of your team and manager Performance forms are used to evaluate your performance on business goals, core values, and job specific competencies during the review period Performance basics include:

Route Map The Route Map determines the workflow a performance evaluation follows. It outlines the steps in the process, including who will participate in the review and at what point.

Form Sections Form sections display the information required to complete the form. Review the information and instructions listed tor each section.

Ratings Rate your performance on each goal, core value, and job specific competency using stars, circles or a drop down menu.

Comments Each goal, core value, and job specific competency can nave a Comment field. Use these fields to document your progress and demonstrate performance, to support the rating tor each item.

Step By Step: Employee Self Evaluation

At year end, use the performance form to complete a self-evaluation on your SAP SuccessFactors performance. The performance form allows you to:

Use the Personal Performance Goals section to evaluate each goal that was established tor this review period. Goals are automatically transferred to the performance form from your Goal Plan.

Rate your performance on each goal by using the star ratings

Use the Comment fields to document actual achievements toward goals.

Use AUC Competencies Section to evaluate your demonstration of the core values and associated behaviors. Rate your performance on each core value listed and provide overall comments based on your performance and demonstration of the core values to support your ratings.

From the More Link allocated at the top of the page, navigate to Individual Performance Plan.

Enter you career/personal plan for achieving your goals in the future. You can use Add Objective link to add a specific objective for this purpose. In the add Development Objective screen you need to enter:

Enter your Review Comment.

Now scroll down to the bottom of the form to enter your general comments.

When all items on the form nave been completed, click Send to Manager located at the bottom of the page to send the form to your manager tor review and evaluation. Or, click Save and Close to pick up where you left of at a later time.

Step By: Manager Evaluation

After receiving the employee's form, the manager conducts an evaluation of the employee's performance The manager assesses the employee's competency strengths, and identifies areas tor development and next steps for future growth and performance.

Manager receives all Subordinates performance forms in his inbox.

Review the employee's performance ratings.

Use the star ratings to rate the employee's performance on each item listed

Enter comments supporting the selected ratings, providing specific, comprehensive, objective feedback that assesses the employee's performance and supports development.

After reviewing the whole form, enter your comments.

Scroll down to approve form or return it back to the employee.

If You click on Approve Objectives, you will be directed to the Notification Screen. In this screen, enter the notification comment to be sent by email and click Approve Objectives to return to the main screen.

Step By Step: Performance Summary

The Performance Summary section provides a summary view of all the ratings listed on the form.

The performance evaluation calculates an Overall Form Rating for the employee. This rating is calculated from the individual ratings factoring in the section weighting.

Use the Managers Comments section to provide feedback on the employee's actual achievements and to support the calculated rating.

It the employee has completed their self-evaluation and you have completed your evaluation, click Send to 1:1 Meeting to send the form to the next step. NOTE: It the employee has not completed the review, follow-up with the employee before completing the review.

Step By Step: Completing Performance

After the Manager Review is completed, the form progresses through the following steps to complete the performance review process.

Calibration The employee's performance form is sent to the Calibration step, where senior leaders and HR review employees' performance ratings to ensure equitable ratings across teams: departments, and the organization. When done: the approved form is returned to your Inbox on the Performance module.

Manager Conducts Discussion Review the employee's finalized performance ratings as they may have changed during Calibration. It needed, edit comments to make them consistent with the new ratings When done, meet with the employee to review the performance evaluation.

Signatures After the performance discussion: send the form to the employee tor electronic signature to confirm the performance discussion has taken place.

NOTE: Electronic signature does not confirm agreement or disagreement with the performance review, only acknowledgment that the review occurred

Completed The completed performance form is sent to your Completed folder on the Performance module, tor reference. The employee also receives a copy.
