AVIGILON APPEARANCE SEARCH SITE ENVIRONMENT

To use Avigilon Appearance Search technology with Avigilon Control Center (ACC) Enterprise edition software:

• Connect Avigilon Appearance Search enabled cameras to Avigilon’s latest generation network video recorder, or a previous generation network video recorder with the Avigilon Analytics Kit installed.

• Connect non-analytics cameras to any network video recorder running ACC Enterprise edition software and associate them with an Avigilon Artificial Intelligence (AI) Appliance in the same site.

MAXIMUM FEATURE-ENABLED CAMERAS PER NVR*

See the Avigilon AI Appliance product datasheet for guidance on the number of associated cameras that can enable Avigilon Appearance Search technology. The Avigilon AI Appliance does not support Face Recognition.

The actual number of cameras that can be supported on a given NVR depends on:

• the NVR model and Analytics Kit model, if applicable• the number of detected and classified objects• whether the Avigilon camera has Next-Generation

Analytics or Self-Learning Video Analytics

The guidelines above assume the following NVR-wide average per camera rates of classified objects leaving the field of view:

• H5A cameras – One every second• H4A cameras and other Avigilon cameras with Self-

Learning Video Analytics – One every two seconds
