    Duties

    &

    Responsibilities

    UnderthesupervisionofaCommunityCoordinator,theAssistantCommunityCoordinatorassistswiththe

    leadershipandmanagementofaresidentialcollegecommunity. Thispositionisresponsibleforprovidinga

    highlevelofcustomerserviceandassistingtheCommunityCoordinatorincreatingacommunitythatfosters

    academicexcellenceandpersonalgrowthforitsresidents.

    Specificdutiesandresponsibilitiescanbeclassifiedintothefollowingbroadercategories,whichareconsistent

    acrossallcampusesthathaveAssistantCommunityCoordinatorpositions:

    Supervision/Leadership/RoleModeling CommunityDevelopment StudentConductAdministration CrisisManagement/OnCallCoverage FacilitiesManagement AcademicEnhancement AdministrationandOperations

    AdditionalGeneralresponsibilitieswillincludethefollowingandmayvaryslightlydependinguponcampus

    placement:

    Selecting,training,supervisingandevaluatingstudentstaff;

    ServingasHallCounciladvisor;

    Developingandpromotinginclusivecommunitiesandcoordinating/implementingcommunityeducationaland

    socialprograms;

    Connectingstudentstoinvolvementandleadershipopportunities;

    Counselingandadvisingstudentresidents;
